Closing of the Exhibition of Cultural Heritage Space and Traditional Craft Products

On the evening of November 17, the closing ceremony of the Exhibition "Cultural Heritage Space and Traditional Craft Products" took place at the Provincial Sports Stadium.

Attending the closing ceremony were leaders of the Vietnam Exhibition Center for Culture and Arts, the Provincial Department of Culture and Sports ; representatives of the Department of Culture and Sports of the provinces and cities participating in the Exhibition.

The exhibition takes place over 5 days (November 13-17), including areas introducing Vietnam's cultural heritage space and traditional handicraft products through a system of documents, artifacts and more than 200 beautiful photos of heritage; areas displaying and selling traditional handicraft products, regional cuisine ...

Through that, it introduced traditional handicraft products, encouraged and motivated the creative working spirit of artisans, provided an opportunity for artisans to exchange and learn experiences; promoted the potential of craft village tourism , and expanded the relationship between craft villages, between producers and tourists.

In particular, during the days of the Exhibition, there were activities, art programs, cultural exchanges between localities, introducing types of intangible cultural heritage of many regions and localities in the country, contributing to honoring cultural heritage, arousing love for homeland and country, pride in a culture rich in national identity.

Performance at the closing ceremony.

At the closing ceremony, the representative of the Organizing Committee awarded Certificates of Merit from the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism to 15 groups actively participating in the Exhibition and awarded Certificates of Merit from the Director of the Vietnam Exhibition Center for Culture and Arts to 13 groups and 1 individual who actively contributed to the activities at the Exhibition.

The exhibition "Cultural Heritage Space and Traditional Handicraft Products" is a typical cultural and tourism activity to celebrate Vietnam Cultural Heritage Day (November 23). This is a meaningful cultural activity, contributing to promoting Vietnam's cultural and natural heritage, promoting tourism development, and raising community awareness in joining hands to preserve the country's cultural and natural heritage, creating motivation to attract resources for tourism development, enhancing the position and image of the country and people of Vietnam.
