Previously, at 19:00 on December 22, people discovered a baby boy about 1 month old, weighing 2.5 kg, abandoned in front of the gate of Long Hoa pagoda in My Thanh commune.

Next to the baby boy was a piece of paper with the name of NTNH's mother, currently a third-year student. Due to her unwise pregnancy, but difficult circumstances, unable to raise the baby and continue studying, she sent the baby to the nuns at the temple to help raise the baby.

In the note left behind, the mother also wrote "will not take the child back", hoping the nuns will help raise the child and not send him elsewhere.

Currently, the People's Committee of My Thanh commune has handed over the boy to the nuns at Long Hoa pagoda for temporary care and has announced to find the boy's relatives.
