Conference “East-West Meeting on Science, Education and Social Capacity”

At the conference, delegates exchanged and shared experiences, philosophies, and advanced development models, focusing on the following topics: Private economic development - East Asian experience and policies for Vietnam; French-style school-institute cooperation model; from the book "Memories to the Future" discussing social capacity in economic development; private enterprise development and the role of social capacity in the knowledge-based economy. Thereby, finding new directions in improving the quality of higher education, developing social capacity, promoting the private economic sector in Vietnam; at the same time, seeking a path of sustainable development linking science, education, and social capacity in the context of globalization and knowledge-based economic development.

On this occasion, Professor Tran Van Tho - Honorary Professor of Waseda University launched the book "Memories to the Future"; Omega Vietnam Book Joint Stock Company (Omega Plus Book) presented Pacific University with a set of classic books on social sciences, politics and law; representative of PTH Invest Law Office (France) presented the school with a set of books "Law and Life" in French. Pacific University signed a cooperation agreement with Omega Plus Book in implementing academic and knowledge programs and projects for students.
