(DN) - On the afternoon of November 3, Doctor Do Thi Nguyen, Director of Dong Nai Department of Health, handed over the decision to take charge of the Cam My Regional Medical Center to Doctor Nguyen Thi Kim Ha, Deputy Director of the center. The term of responsibility is from November 1, 2025. Doctor Kim Ha is in charge of the unit, replacing her predecessor, Doctor Luu Van Tuong, who retired and received benefits.

Director of the Department of Health Do Thi Nguyen congratulated Dr. Nguyen Thi Kim Ha. At the same time, she suggested that under the leadership of Dr. Ha, Cam My Regional Medical Center will continue to unite, focus on democracy, improve the quality of medical examination and treatment, and take patients as the center of service. In the coming time, the center needs to further promote digital transformation, strive to become a group 2 autonomous medical facility, and implement many creative ways to increase income for medical staff.

Dr. Nguyen Thi Kim Ha would like to express her deep gratitude to the Party Committee and the Board of Directors of the Department of Health for entrusting her with the management of the Cam My Regional Medical Center. This is a great honor and also a heavy responsibility. Dr. Kim Ha promises to continue working with the entire medical staff of the center to promote the tradition of solidarity, discipline, and dedication to patients; to build a strong, democratic, responsible, and professional collective. All are aiming to improve the quality of medical examination and treatment at the unit, reduce the transfer of patients to higher levels, and help people access high-quality medical services right at the facility.

Cam My Regional Medical Center is currently a unit performing two functions, both prevention and treatment. The center currently has 369 staff, including 86 doctors. On average, each day, the center examines and treats 500-800 outpatients and about 150 inpatients. In recent times, the center has deployed many new techniques in the fields of surgery and obstetrics. Thereby, helping local people not have to go to higher levels for treatment as before, helping to reduce costs, time, effort...
