Nearly 1 month old baby boy abandoned in the cold

(NLDO) - A baby boy less than 1 month old was wrapped in a thin towel and abandoned in front of a house in the freezing cold.

On January 12, Mr. Nguyen Manh Ha, Chairman of the People's Committee of Tan Hoa Ward, Buon Ma Thuot City, Dak Lak Province, said that local people are taking care of an abandoned baby boy.

According to Mr. Ha, the authorities are currently extracting camera footage to check who abandoned the boy. At the same time, they are making announcements to find the boy’s relatives.

"The baby boy has been adopted by local people. His health is now stable and he has no birth defects," Mr. Ha informed.

Previously, at around 6:30 a.m. the same day, people discovered a nearly 1-month-old baby boy abandoned on Pham Van Dong Street (Tan Hoa Ward).

At the time of discovery, the baby boy was wrapped in a thin towel, without any documents.

Due to the cold weather, people immediately took the boy to Tan Hoa Ward Health Station for examination and reported to the authorities.
