The 4th Ho Chi Minh City Innovation Award received 292 projects, works, solutions, and research topics. Among the 292 projects, the work of Hung Vuong Hospital stands out for its breakthrough nature and high applicability, opening up new hope for women facing difficulties in their journey to motherhood. On July 2nd, Associate Professor, Doctor Hoang Thi Diem Tuyet, Director of Hung Vuong Hospital, stated that "research on the application of platelet concentrate technology to endometrial regeneration" is not just a theoretical project but has yielded practical results. Two out of three patients in the trial successfully became pregnant after numerous failures with other methods. With significant improvements over previous generations of products, PRF lysate is liquid, easy to inject, requires no additives or activating chemicals, has high activity, and is produced using a simple, low-cost process, making it easy to apply on a large scale in hospitals.
"The research was conducted with the goal of providing experimental evidence, from basic research to clinical applications, on the role and impact of platelet concentrate technology products in endometrial regeneration. The research topic combined preclinical and clinical research content, therefore trials were conducted on both animals and humans," Associate Professor Tuyet said.
Building on its initial success, Hung Vuong Hospital is continuing to refine the PRF lysate production process, evaluate its effectiveness with larger patient samples, standardize preservation procedures, and expand its application to other fields of regenerative medicine.
