Drowned to death after drinking and then swimming in the hydroelectric lake

At dawn on May 12, rescue forces and Binh Phuoc Provincial Police found the body of a man who drowned at Can Don Hydroelectric Lake.

According to initial information, the victim was Dieu Phen (born in 1976, residing in Phuoc Thien commune, Bu Dop district, Binh Phuoc province). At around 4:00 p.m. on May 11, Mr. Dieu Phen and some other people organized a drinking party at the Can Don hydroelectric lake area, in Muoi Mau hamlet, Phuoc Thien commune, Bu Dop district. After drinking for a while, Mr. Phen jumped into the pool and went missing.

Fire and Rescue Police force searching for victims.

The people who were drinking with him did not see Mr. Phen come up so they suspected he had drowned, so they reported it to the local authorities.

Upon receiving the news, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Force, Binh Phuoc Provincial Police mobilized specialized vehicles and dozens of officers and soldiers to quickly arrive at the scene to coordinate with functional forces to search for the victims.

At dawn on May 12, rescuers found Mr. Phen's body about 100 meters from the scene of the drowning.
