Previously, an 18-second clip appeared on social media, recording two female employees working at the arrivals gate of Phu Quoc International Airport arguing and then grabbing each other’s hair and fighting in a crowded place. The incident only stopped when their colleagues intervened.
The incident happened on May 26, two female employees fought, Ms. HTMT, counter staff of Vietnam Airport Investment and Services Joint Stock Company - Phu Quoc Branch) and Ms. HTTH, flight station staff of Saigon - Phu Quoc Transport Group Joint Stock Company.
After that, the two companies took disciplinary action against their employees. Specifically, Ms. T. was suspended from work for 14 days and transferred to another department due to serious violations of workplace conduct regulations, which seriously affected the company's image.
Ms. H. received a disciplinary warning, compensation for damages and the company's reputation of 1 million VND and was transferred to another job for violating regulations in the Phu Quoc International Airport area, affecting the company's operations and reputation.
