Provincial Party Secretary Hoang Thi Thuy Lan attended the launching ceremony of the Tree Planting Festival "Forever grateful to Uncle Ho" Spring of Giap Thin 2024

On the morning of February 19, at the grounds of the Monument of Prime Minister Tran Nguyen Han, Lap Thach town, Lap Thach district, the launching ceremony of the Tree Planting Festival "Forever grateful to Uncle Ho" Spring of Giap Thin 2024 was held.

Attending the event were comrade Hoang Thi Thuy Lan, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee: Nguyen Trung Hai, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Vu Viet Van, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Nguyen Ba Huy, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Board; Tran Thanh Hai, Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development; leaders of a number of departments, branches and Lap Thach district.

In recent years, the emulation movement to protect and develop forests in Lap Thach district has been constantly promoted, contributing to protecting the ecological environment, developing the socio -economy, and improving people's lives.

Imbued with the teachings of beloved Uncle Ho, implementing the Party's policies and the Government 's instructions, every year, when Tet and Spring come, the people of all ethnic groups in Lap Thach district enthusiastically plant trees and afforest. On average, each year, the whole district plants more than 150 hectares of new forests of all kinds, and the forest coverage has remained stable at 25%. Forest management and protection work is getting better and better.

The Party Committee, government and people of Lap Thach district actively responded to the "Tet tree planting festival to forever remember Uncle Ho" with the highest sense of responsibility and determination, raising awareness for each citizen about the great benefits and humanistic values of tree planting, afforestation and forest protection, creating a widespread movement for "Every household plants trees, every person plants trees, the whole population participates in tree planting and forest planting" associated with socio-economic development, protecting the ecological environment, and minimizing the impact of climate change.

Right in the launching month, Lap Thach district plans to plant more than 140/170 hectares of forest; 130,000/160,000 scattered trees to gradually complete the 2024 plan; combine improving productivity, quality, and efficiency of forest planting with protecting existing forest resources, preventing illegal logging and exploitation; continue to restructure the forestry sector towards deep processing, increasing the proportion and economic value of forestry...

After offering flowers at the Monument of Prime Minister Tran Nguyen Han, Provincial Party Secretary Hoang Thi Thuy Lan and other provincial leaders, leaders of departments, branches, and a large number of officials, civil servants, and people of Lap Thach district enthusiastically planted trees.

On this occasion, Provincial Party Secretary Hoang Thi Thuy Lan inspected the implementation of tasks after Tet in Lap Thach district.

At the meeting, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Hoang Thi Thuy Lan requested Lap Thach district to focus on implementing political tasks, quickly bring activities back to normal, ensure smooth public service activities; not to let the situation of long Tet holidays, neglecting work, affecting the production and business activities of people and enterprises.

Take good care of the 2024 Winter-Spring rice crop, proactively prevent diseases on crops and livestock.

Strengthen crime prevention and control, especially drug crimes, gambling and other social evils during the Spring Festival; grasp the situation of security, order, social safety, and cyber security in the district, especially cases with potential risks to proactively respond, not to be passive or surprised.

Focus on implementing the goals and tasks set out in the Resolution of the Provincial Party Congress and the Resolution of the District Party Congress for the 2020-2025 term.

Resolutely carry out the work of site clearance and resettlement for industrial parks in the district such as Lap Thach I, Thai Hoa - Lien Son - Lien Hoa; speed up the construction progress of key works and projects of the province and the district to welcome the Provincial Party Congress, District Party Congress for the term 2025-2030 such as: Lap Thach District Cemetery Park Project, Ring Road 2 through industrial parks; Organize the military enlistment in 2024 safely, ensuring enough targets.
