The number of Vietnamese athletes participating increased by nearly 25% compared to 2024, while the number of international athletes continued to expand significantly - a testament to the island’s attractiveness, professional organization, and increasingly complete tourism and sports infrastructure.

What is special is that the legendary Mark Allen, 6-time IRONMAN World Championship champion, unexpectedly returned after nearly 30 years, participating in the relay swimming competition - bringing a special moment to the Vietnamese IRONMAN community.
