Binh Dinh: Supporting women in innovative startups

The People's Committee of Binh Dinh province has just issued a Plan to implement the Project "Supporting Women in Entrepreneurship" in 2025 with the goal of connecting the province's innovative startup ecosystem.

In recent years, the Binh Dinh Provincial Women's Union has carried out many activities to support women in starting businesses, making start-ups a movement among all levels of the Women's Union in the province. Thereby, nearly 56,000 female members have had their awareness of start-ups raised; 4,500 female workers have been supported with vocational training; thousands of women have been connected with start-up capital support with an amount of more than 17 billion VND.

Activities to support women in starting businesses have contributed to raising women's awareness of starting a business and developing the economy ; encouraging enterprises, cooperatives, cooperative groups, and business households owned by women to develop products and services or projects, ideas for production and trading of products and services; promoting digital transformation, applying information technology, and social networking platforms to help women start businesses and do business effectively.

Accompanying women in starting businesses, the People's Committee of Binh Dinh province has just issued a plan to implement the Project "Supporting Women in Starting a Business" in 2025 with the goal of connecting the province's innovative startup ecosystem.

The plan focuses on implementing key contents: Organizing and implementing well the propaganda and mobilization work on the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws on start-ups and business development; the role of women in economic development. Supporting women in starting businesses and innovative start-ups, including: Connecting, developing networks and promoting trade; inspecting and supervising the implementation of policies and laws to support women in starting businesses and developing businesses for women; organizing the assessment and summary of the period 2018-2025 and orienting the implementation of the Project for the period 2026-2035.

The project “Supporting Women to Start a Business” in 2025 is a continuous and persistent journey, affirming the important contribution of women in the province to the general start-up movement of women nationwide. This is one of the practical solutions for the Women's Union and all levels and sectors to support women not only to escape poverty, have a stable life but also to be able to develop the economy in a sustainable direction, and strive to become rich.
