During the 10 years of implementing Directive 05 of the Politburo , the Party Committee of Army Corps 16 has led, directed, thoroughly grasped, and seriously implemented it, achieving practical results. The Army Corps has many good models and creative ways of doing things that have been widely replicated.

The unit has incorporated the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style into the activities of the Party cell, thematic activities, and the daily implementation of political tasks of cadres and soldiers, becoming a routine. In addition to performing well the tasks of training and combat readiness, cadres and employees follow Uncle Ho's teachings through concrete actions, such as helping people overcome natural disasters, eliminate hunger and reduce poverty, build new rural areas, maintain political security and social order and safety in remote, isolated and border areas, build a clean and strong Party, a strong and comprehensive unit, a safe area, build solidarity between the army and the people, and develop the socio -economy of localities.

At the conference, the opinions presented proposed many measures and experiences to promote studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style in the coming time, such as building a self-cultivation plan for each cadre and party member; promoting self-criticism and criticism; closely linking with emulation movements and campaigns; timely rewards and commendations; improving the leadership capacity of Party committees at all levels; promoting the exemplary role of cadres and party members; strengthening inspection and supervision work...

On this occasion, the Command of Army Corps 16 commended 6 collectives and 9 individuals with outstanding achievements in implementing Directive 05 of the Politburo on promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle in the period 2016-2025.
