The Politburo assigned Mr. Trinh Xuan Truong to hold the position of Secretary of Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee.

On the afternoon of September 30, the Standing Committee of Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee held a conference to announce the Politburo 's decision on personnel work.

Attending the conference were Mr. Le Minh Hung, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Organization Commission; representatives of a number of central ministries and branches; leaders of Thai Nguyen province and departments, branches and localities in the province.

At the conference, the leaders of the Central Organizing Committee announced the Politburo's Decision on the transfer, assignment and appointment of Mr. Trinh Xuan Truong, Secretary of Lao Cai Provincial Party Committee, to join the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, and hold the position of Secretary of Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term.

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Le Minh Hung congratulated the Party Committee, government and people of Thai Nguyen on receiving the Politburo's attention in perfecting key personnel.

He affirmed that the transfer and assignment of Mr. Trinh Xuan Truong to the position of Secretary of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee demonstrated the trust and expectations of the Politburo and the Central Executive Committee for him as well as for the collective of the Provincial Party Executive Committee.

The Executive Committee, Standing Committee, leaders at all levels and sectors in the province continue to promote the spirit of solidarity, unity, sharing and support so that Mr. Trinh Xuan Truong can successfully fulfill his responsibilities in his new position.

The Head of the Central Organizing Committee emphasized that Thai Nguyen has an important strategic position in terms of economy, politics, national defense and security. The 1st Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030, discussed and approved many important contents.

In the 2020-2025 term, despite many difficulties and challenges, the Party Committee, government and people of Thai Nguyen have united, made efforts, and successfully carried out the tasks of the term, achieving comprehensive and important results in all fields, especially since Thai Nguyen province was established.

The Politburo requested Mr. Trinh Xuan Truong to closely follow the direction of the Central Committee, focus on promulgating and deploying the action program to implement the Congress resolution; promptly develop working regulations, arrange cadres after the Congress to ensure democracy, objectivity, and proper procedures; at the same time promote the spirit of solidarity, innovation, and creativity throughout the Party.

Mr. Trinh Xuan Truong needs to thoroughly grasp and effectively implement the resolution of the 14th National Congress of the Party, the directions of the Central Committee, the Politburo, and the Secretariat in the new development period; take advantage of opportunities, overcome challenges, successfully implement the two-level local government model that is effective, efficient, operates smoothly, and serves the people...

The Head of the Central Organizing Committee expressed his belief that Comrade Trinh Xuan Truong and the Party Committee, government and people of Thai Nguyen will continue to promote the revolutionary tradition, solidarity, and determination to successfully implement the Resolution of the 1st Provincial Party Congress, building Thai Nguyen into a modern industrial center, a dynamic growth pole of the Northern midland and mountainous region.

In his acceptance speech, Mr. Trinh Xuan Truong, Secretary of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term, sincerely thanked the Politburo and the Secretariat for their trust. He affirmed that together with the Provincial Party Committee, the political system and the people of all ethnic groups in the province, he will promote the revolutionary tradition, solidarity and unity, strive to successfully complete the goals and tasks set out in the Resolution of the Provincial Party Congress, contributing to the development of Thai Nguyen.

On September 29, 2025, at the 1st Congress of Lao Cai Provincial Party Committee, term 2025-2030, the Central Organizing Committee announced the Politburo's decision to transfer and appoint Mr. Trinh Xuan Truong, Secretary of Lao Cai Provincial Party Committee, to join the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, and hold the position of Secretary of Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee, term 2025-2030./.
