Ministry of Industry and Trade meets to discuss organization and personnel arrangement for heads of departments

On March 3, Minister Nguyen Hong Dien chaired the first meeting related to the new organizational structure of the Ministry of Industry and Trade .

Currently, the Ministry of Industry and Trade has 22 units, which is a reduction of 6 units compared to Decree 96. The Minister has also signed decisions on the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the units under the ministry; and decisions on personnel mobilization and arrangement.

Along with that is the decision to transfer leaders of merged units to work in new units in the spirit of Decree 40 on functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Industry and Trade; promulgate regulations on the ministry's operations in the new spirit; and assign tasks to ministry leaders, ministers, and deputy ministers.

The Standing Committee met to fill positions.

According to the minister, this arrangement is very urgent in terms of time, so the heads of the units after the merger need time to prepare both organizationally and personally for each specific case.

Accordingly, on March 1, the Minister and the Head of the Department of Personnel Organization also took time to meet and contact the chief personnel of the units subject to reorganization, and today the Standing Committee will meet to complete the positions.

Minister Nguyen Hong Dien shared that everything happened very quickly, so in the spirit of "running and lining up at the same time" but still having to comply with the principles and regulations of the competent authority.

During the reorganization process, the Ministry's leaders and the Party Committee's Standing Committee clearly stated that not only those in the merged and dissolved units but all cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers in the entire industry need to study, thoroughly understand and seriously and voluntarily implement the policies, mechanisms and strategies of superiors and strictly comply with the decisions of competent authorities.

In particular, we must promote the sense of self-construction, sharing, and tolerance for the common cause. We must proactively propose about ourselves and our colleagues and respect and support all decisions of the Standing Committee and the ministry's leaders during the personnel arrangement process.

Pay attention to ideological work when arranging

With the requirement that the Ministry of Industry and Trade must be the most serious and advanced ministry in awareness and action to create a transformation, Mr. Dien requested that units under the ministry continue to seriously grasp the spirit of Resolution 18 of the Central Committee and Decree 40 on the newly issued organizational structure of the ministry.

The merging units need to urgently hand over facilities, documents, assets; hand over work and continue to perfect internal regulations, rules, organization and personnel to avoid loss, waste and negativity.

Review and adjust work programs and plans to suit the requirements of the task. Assign tasks to organizations and individuals clearly. The goal is to ensure that the work is carried out seriously; do not delay work to affect the quality and efficiency of service to people and businesses.

Along with perfecting the organizational structure according to Decree 40 and the Ministry's decision, all units must review to perfect the Party organization in sync with the organizational structure. Review and adjust the preparation work on content, personnel, and plans to organize well the Party cell and Party congresses according to the direction of the superiors.

Along with that, it is necessary to pay attention to doing a good job of ideological work for cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers. First of all, it is the ideological work of leaders, managers and those directly involved in the arrangement work so that the individuals involved can clearly perceive, correctly evaluate and show appropriate attitudes.
