On October 27 and 28, Colonel Nguyen Hoai Nam, Deputy Commander of the Da Nang City Border Guard, directly inspected and directed the response work at the mountain border posts. Colonel Nguyen Hoai Nam said that on the afternoon and evening of October 28, the units urgently deployed forces and vehicles to support people in overcoming the consequences of natural disasters and organizing the evacuation of people to safety.
Specifically, the city Border Guard mobilized 30 working groups with more than 300 officers and soldiers to coordinate with local authorities to assist in evacuating 175 households with 632 people. The working groups focused on deeply flooded areas such as Hoi An Dong, Hoi An Tay, Thang An, Ngu Hanh Son and mountainous communes of Avuong, La Ee, La Dee...



Non Nuoc Border Guard Station helps people move assets, food, and belongings to a safe place.
At Non Nuoc Border Guard Station, Lieutenant Colonel Pham Tuan, Political Commissar of the unit, said that on the evening of October 28, 25 officers and soldiers were mobilized to flooded areas, coordinating with functional forces to support about 100 households to raise furniture, move the elderly, children and valuable assets to safety.
At the same time, A Nong Border Guard Station sent 12 officers and soldiers to coordinate with the authorities of Tay Giang and A Vuong communes to warn people not to go through the landslide area, not to fish, and to promptly inform the authorities when dangerous situations occur.




Nam Giang International Border Gate Border Guard Station helps La Dee commune residents at risk of landslides to evacuate to safety.
In the western border area, Lieutenant Colonel Do Quang Vinh, Head of Ga Ri Border Guard Station, said that since October 27, prolonged heavy rains have caused landslides in many places in Dac Pring and Tr'hy communes. On the morning of October 28, Ga Ri, Tr'hy and A Nong Border Guard Stations coordinated with local authorities to support 4 households in villages 49a, 58 and 59 (Hung Son commune) to move their belongings and assets to safety.
Currently, in La Êê and La Dêê communes, many landslides continue to appear along Highway DH4 and in the commune center, forcing authorities to evacuate people at night.

In addition, the Da Nang City Border Guard is also maintaining more than 350 officers and soldiers along with 52 vehicles of all kinds on duty 24/7, ready to mobilize to rescue and search for missing people in the Ky Ha Port Border Gate area and support the locality to overcome the consequences of floods.
