Over the past 10 years of implementing Directive 05, the Provincial Border Guard Party Committee and Party committees and commanders of agencies and units have focused on leadership and direction, achieving many important results. The study and following of Uncle Ho has been implemented synchronously and creatively through many diverse forms such as political activities, visual propaganda, building and studying topics according to each specific stage.

Cadres and soldiers have raised awareness, responsibility, cultivated morality and lifestyle, fought against individualism, implemented the motto "the superiors set an exemplary example, the subordinates actively follow", contributed to the excellent completion of assigned political tasks, built a clean and strong Party organization, a comprehensively strong unit "exemplary, typical".

On the border, officers and soldiers of the provincial Border Guard always closely follow the reality, organize tens of thousands of patrols and controls; carry out well the work of border diplomacy and people's diplomacy , contributing to building a peaceful, friendly, cooperative and developed border. In the fight against crime, the force has broken up many large, independent projects and coordinated to arrest 116 cases/164 subjects illegally buying, selling and transporting drugs; 2,597 cases/802 subjects smuggling, 3,206 cases/5,904 subjects illegally entering and exiting the country, seizing large quantities of drugs, firecrackers and other illegal goods, contributing to maintaining political security, social order and safety in the border area.

Party committees and commanders at all levels regularly pay attention to selecting, building, praising and rewarding typical and advanced collectives and individuals in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle; propagating and replicating typical examples, new models, creative and effective ways of doing things, and mobilizing the entire unit to study and follow.

Through the implementation process with many effective models such as: Movement "An Giang Provincial Border Guard joins hands to build new countryside"; "An Giang Provincial Border Guard joins hands for the poor - No one is left behind"; "Young people of An Giang Border Guard follow in the footsteps of their fathers and brothers, worthy of Uncle Ho's soldiers"; "House of 100 Dong"; "Piggy bank of love"; "Jar of love rice"; program "Helping children go to school - Adopted children of border guard stations"..., attracting a large number of cadres, party members and the masses to participate.

On this occasion, 3 groups and 3 individuals received certificates of merit from the Provincial Border Guard Command for their outstanding achievements in 10 years of implementing Directive 05. In addition, many groups and individuals were rewarded for their outstanding achievements in performing their tasks in the past time.
