The Hai Phong Border Guard Command said that by 2 p.m. on September 24, the entire city's Border Guard force had called and guided 1,604 vehicles with 4,481 workers; including 1,180 fishing boats, 329 passenger boats, 13 transport vehicles and 82 other vehicles to move to a safe place. In addition, 271 cages and 3 watchtowers at sea were also guided by the city's Border Guard on storm prevention measures.
There are currently 211 vessels with 701 workers still operating at sea. The city's Border Guard is actively coordinating to notify, call, and guide them to move ashore. At the same time, resolutely prevent fishermen, vessels, and rafts that have entered shelters from resuming operations during the storm's impact; along with that, strengthen information, propaganda, and mobilize people to implement storm prevention measures, protect people and property.
