The Ministry of Education and Training (MOET) has just issued Official Dispatch No. 1479/BGDĐT-GDPT to the People's Committees of provinces and cities on continuing to strengthen the implementation of Official Dispatch No. 10CĐ-TTg dated February 7 of the Prime Minister on strengthening the direction of junior high school (THCS) and high school (THPT) enrollment and management of extra teaching and learning activities.

Implementing the Prime Minister's Official Dispatch No. 10/CD-TTg, the Ministry of Education and Training issued a directive document, established an Inspection Team, and conducted direct inspections in 6 provinces.

On March 28, the Ministry of Education and Training held an online conference to evaluate the management of extra teaching and learning according to Circular No. 29/2024/TT-BGDDT and the work of primary school admission and organization of the 2025 high school graduation exam.

However, some localities have not seriously implemented regulations on reporting time on the implementation of Circular No. 29.

Many localities are still confused about managing extra teaching and learning, the Ministry of Education and Training requires strengthening management.

Specifically, 7 provinces submitted their reports later than the regulations. Some localities are still confused in implementation because they have not yet issued documents regulating the management of extra teaching and learning according to their authority.

To continue strengthening state management of education and improving the effectiveness and efficiency of management, the Ministry of Education and Training requests the People's Committees of provinces and centrally-run cities to continue to synchronously and resolutely carry out tasks and take full responsibility for the work of enrolling students in junior high schools and high schools and managing extra teaching and learning activities in the area as required by the Prime Minister in Official Dispatch No. 10/CD-TTg.

The Ministry of Education and Training requests that the People's Committees of provinces and centrally-run cities continue to pay attention to and strengthen the direction of the implementation of the above contents, and promptly report to the Ministry of Education and Training any problems and difficulties in the implementation process.
