Pork skin - a popular food rich in collagen, containing many nutrients good for bones
Pig skin is a familiar ingredient that is still used to prepare dishes such as nem chua, nem chao, bong bi or simply boiled or fried. The price of pig skin is very cheap, some stores even give it away when customers need it, but few people know that this often 'free' thing has very good nutritional value for the body.
According to nutritionists, pig skin is a rich source of natural collagen. When eating pig skin, this collagen will be converted into amino acids by the body, helping to regenerate endogenous collagen, supporting skin elasticity, slowing down the aging process.
In addition to being good for the skin, collagen in pig skin also helps strengthen bones, reducing the risk of osteoarthritis or osteoporosis. The amino acid glycine in pig skin also helps increase collagen synthesis and supports sleep and stable nerves.

Pork skin is very nutritious.
According to Associate Professor, Doctor, Doctor Nguyen Trong Hung - National Institute of Nutrition, although pork skin is good, you should not eat too much in a week, especially for people with high blood fat or diabetes. When preparing, everyone should remember to boil thoroughly and remove all the fat to make the dish more delicious and nutritious.
Collagen supplementation only partially supports the protection of bones and joints. To have a healthy body, along with a balanced diet, people should combine exercise and maintain a reasonable weight.
