Accordingly, the National Assembly voted to pass the Resolution to supplement the number of Deputy Prime Ministers for the 15th National Assembly term by electronic voting.
As a result, 434 delegates participated in the vote (equal to 91.56% of the total number of delegates). Of which, 430 delegates approved (equal to 90.72% of the total number of delegates), 2 delegates disapproved (equal to 0.42%), 2 delegates did not vote (equal to 0.42%).
The National Assembly established a Ballot Counting Committee; conducted a secret ballot on personnel matters; and listened to the Ballot Counting Committee announce the results of the ballot counting on personnel matters.
Permanent Deputy Head of the National Assembly Office Le Quang Manh (assigned to perform the duties of Secretary General of the National Assembly) presented draft resolutions of the National Assembly on personnel work.
The National Assembly then voted to pass a resolution approving the Prime Minister's proposal to dismiss a number of ministers for the 2021-2026 term.
Specifically, Mr. Bui Thanh Son was dismissed from the position of Minister of Foreign Affairs; Ms. Pham Thi Thanh Tra was dismissed from the position of Minister of Home Affairs; and Mr. Do Duc Duy was dismissed from the position of Minister of Agriculture and Environment, by electronic voting.
As a result, 418 delegates participated in the vote (88.19%); of which, 418 delegates approved (88.19%).
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh presented a proposal to the National Assembly to approve the appointment of Deputy Prime Ministers for the 2021-2026 term and approve the appointment of a number of Ministers for the 2021-2026 term.
