Top-notch foreign volleyball players
According to information from the Vietnam Volleyball Federation (VFV), the second phase and the final round of the National Women's Volleyball Championship will take place from October 7th to 16th in Ninh Binh . This is a crucial phase in both the championship race and the relegation battle, so all teams have made thorough preparations in terms of personnel, especially in the foreign player positions .
A "blockbuster" foreign player has been activated as VTV Binh Dien Long An Club has recruited American volleyball player Roni Jones Perry. The 28-year-old hitter, standing at 1.83m tall, possesses a jump of over 3m and has played professionally in Italy, Poland, and Brazil. He promises to help VTV Binh Dien Long An maintain its position in the championship race. With the team's main hitter, Tran Thi Thanh Thuy, having moved to Japan, Roni Jones Perry is expected to perform exceptionally well. Ahead of the second phase of the national championship, the club has also chosen coach Nguyen Thi Ngoc Hoa to replace veteran coach Thai Quang Lai.
With ambitions to qualify for the finals, Thanh Hoa team also spent heavily to bring in American hitter Leah Hardeman. This 30-year-old outside hitter has played in Italy, France, Greece, and the USA, promising to be a perfect addition to Thanh Hoa Club.

Also aiming for the championship title, the Signal Corps team recruited Russian player Irina Voronkova. The 1.9m tall hitter, who won a bronze medal with the Russian national team at the 2019 World Championships, is expected to maintain her good form and deliver high-class plays. Another team, the Industrial and Commercial Bank, also chose a foreign player from Russia. Coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet believes that the 20-year-old talent Anna Belyanskaya will help the team qualify for the finals.

The remaining teams, such as LPBank Ninh Binh and Duc Giang Chemical, are currently scouting and selecting talented foreign players to compete in the decisive stages of the 2025 national championship. The presence of quality foreign players makes the national women's volleyball league increasingly attractive and draws the attention of the audience.
Besides investing in talented foreign players, the VTV Binh Dien Long An, Information Corps, and Duc Giang Chemical teams also train and compete abroad. The Long An team was in Thailand to compete in the Sealect Cup from September 16-21. The Information Corps team also trained in Shanghai (China) from September 14-24. Meanwhile, from September 21-28, the Duc Giang Chemical Club will compete in the Kovo Cup in South Korea.
