Bustling sea festival
On April 26 and 27, 2025, Ha Tinh people and tourists from all over witnessed the vibrant opening ceremonies of sea tourism in all tourist areas and spots: Xuan Thanh (Nghi Xuan), Xuan Hai beach - Loc Ha town (Thach Ha), Thach Hai (Ha Tinh city), Ky Xuan (Ky Anh district) and Ky Ninh (Ky Anh town).
The opening ceremonies with many colorful activities created a vibrant atmosphere of the tourism festival, honoring the cultural beauty of the people, the landscape of the coastal villages in particular and Ha Tinh in general. In particular, the highlight is the art programs that have been systematically developed by the localities, invested in on a large scale and invited many famous singers to perform, attracting and leaving many impressions on the majority of people and tourists.
Mr. Bui Van Dung (Viet Tien commune, Thach Ha) shared after the opening ceremony at Xuan Hai beach: “ It has been a long time since my family and I have participated in such an exciting event. The performances, the exciting folk dance and the national defense fireworks display really left me with many unforgettable emotions.”
Along with Thach Ha, the opening ceremony of Ky Ninh beach tourism (Ky Anh town), Xuan Thanh (Nghi Xuan)... are all elaborately and attractively staged programs. In which, with the theme "Ky Anh town aspires and shines", the art program has the participation of singer Sao Mai rendezvous - Tien Hung and many famous singers with many songs praising the homeland, the victory of April 30, 1975, the beauty of Ha Tinh sea... extremely meaningful.
Ms. Ho Minh Hang - Head of the Department of Culture, Science and Information of Ky Anh Town said: "In addition to spreading the beauty and potential of Ky Anh Town's sea, through the program, we also want to send a message about a dynamic city, full of development aspirations, contributing to building a prosperous Ha Tinh".
In addition to the opening ceremony, on this occasion, many exciting cultural activities and sports tournaments were also held at coastal tourist areas and spots across the province. In particular, at Xuan Thanh tourist area, there was a volleyball tournament for strong teams, a pickaball tournament, a folk dance competition, a beer festival, a food festival, etc.; at Ky Ninh beach tourist area (Ky Anh town), there were men's beach volleyball tournaments, men's and women's beach tug-of-war tournaments, Sao Vang beer festival - experiencing seafood specialties, exchanges, and performances of folk dance clubs, local arts and culture; Xuan Hai beach (Loc Ha town, Thach Ha) had a pickleball tournament; Thach Hai (Ha Tinh city) had an exhibition introducing OCOP products, local specialties, etc. In particular, at Ky Xuan (Ky Anh district), in addition to sports activities, there was a parade of 30 motorboats demonstrating the beauty of love for the Fatherland and fishing activities at sea of fishermen in the fishing village.
According to preliminary reports from localities, it is estimated that more than 100,000 people and tourists came to tourist areas and spots across the province to participate in the opening ceremony of Ha Tinh sea tourism on April 26 and 27.
New tourism products, attractive experiences
Along with successfully organizing opening ceremonies, widely spreading the beauty of Ha Tinh sea to tourists near and far, this summer, coastal tourist areas and spots in the province have continuously renovated facilities, upgraded accommodation facilities, restaurants, services and renewed many attractive tourism products.
At Thien Cam Tourist Area (Cam Xuyen), a series of hotels and restaurants have completed upgrading since mid-April 2025. In particular, Thien Cam Beach Club is preparing to launch a surfing performance service on the sea - the first time appearing in Ha Tinh.
Mr. Tran Xuan Vu (owner of Beach Club Thien Cam) said: “Along with changing the new look of Beach Club Thien Cam such as: redecorating check-in points, music performance stage, relaxing seats for visitors, creating an attractive menu..., this summer, we are trying to organize a new service that will appear for the first time in Ha Tinh beach. That is organizing artistic windsurfing on the sea. In the near future, we will organize an artistic windsurfing performance with a special music program on the occasion of the April 30 - May 1 holiday, then the program will be performed weekly. Thereby, helping visitors to Thien Cam beach have more unique and different experiences”.
At Xuan Thanh Tourist Area (Nghi Xuan), in addition to the overall renovation, many new tourism products have also been put into operation such as: cruise to enjoy folk songs on My Duong River (a freshwater stream in the tourist area), hanging more than 1,000 traditional lanterns on the route of the tourist area's square; seafood night market combined with local agricultural product display. In addition, this tourist area also arranges many refreshment spots, art performance stages to serve large groups of guests and organizes team building activities.
Mr. Bui Viet Hung - Vice Chairman of Nghi Xuan District People's Committee said: "This is the result of our efforts after participating in many tours and learning about tourism in famous tourist areas and destinations in many provinces and cities. With the aim of creating more diverse and attractive products, keeping tourists longer when coming to Xuan Thanh beach in particular and Nghi Xuan in general, in the coming time, we will continue to coordinate to build many new products at destinations, at the same time, enhance and promote the advantages that have been built".
In order to ensure a vibrant and safe beach tourism season for tourists, in addition to directing and guiding localities, areas and tourist attractions to constantly improve and upgrade services and products, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism also actively strengthens inspection of related activities.
Ms. Vo Thi Thu Hien - Head of Tourism Management Department (Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ha Tinh) said: "In order for tourism activities to take place safely, we regularly monitor the facilities closely, thoroughly instruct business units to ensure conditions, coordinate with functional forces to inspect and supervise tasks such as: security and order, rescue, food safety and hygiene, price posting, selling at listed prices... Thereby, helping tourists not only have an enjoyable vacation but also leave many good impressions about the culture and people of Ha Tinh after each trip".
With careful preparation of products, infrastructure, and a series of rich activities, summer 2025 promises to be a memorable beach tourism season for visitors from all over the country when coming to Ha Tinh beach.
According to a preliminary report by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ha Tinh, from the beginning of 2025 to present, tourist areas and spots across the province have attracted over 2 million visitors, about 218,000 overnight guests, of which 5,266 were international visitors.
