"Blood Pen" by writer Vu Hanh on stage

Director Minh Nguyet has just staged a literary play called "Blood Pen", a work inspired by the famous short story of the same name by writer Vu Hanh - a great writer of Vietnamese revolutionary literature, with many works leaving a deep impression in the hearts of readers.

Director Minh Nguyet shared: "I believe that the values ​​of patriotism, dedication and aspiration for truth in "Blood Pen" still have value for young people today."

"Blood Pen" features many famous artists such as: People's Artist Hoang Yen, Meritorious Artist Vo Minh Lam, artist Minh Anh, Cong Danh... Notably, artist Cong Danh not only participates as an actor but also as an assistant director. A special highlight of the play is the participation of American director - John Andrew Cunnington - in charge of lighting design. People's Artist Tran Ngoc Giau takes on the role of artistic advisor.

The play "Blood Pen" will be performed twice at the City Theater (HCMC) in early October 2025, then will tour nationwide.
