After being recognized, OCOP products have had significant growth in value and revenue, contributing to creating stable income for rural labor. In addition to perfecting and improving product quality, expanding the market is always an issue of concern for the subject and all levels and sectors.
The application of digital transformation in promoting and consuming OCOP products of Ca Mau province has achieved positive results. Activities such as: buying and selling on e-commerce platforms; cashless payment; using electronic invoices, electronic tax payment, barcodes, QR codes for traceability... are increasingly applied by subjects and consumers. OCOP products are specialty products, typical products bearing the brands of enterprises, cooperatives, and production facilities in the province, which are present on e-commerce platforms madeincamau.com, Postmart, Sendo, Shopee, Lazada, Tiki, Alibaba, Amazon...
Ms. Tran Thi Xa - Chairwoman of the Board of Directors and Director of Dam Doi crab cooperative (Quach Pham Bac commune, Dam Doi district) said: Since participating in the OCOP program and having access to digital platforms, I have realized that the market through digital transformation can be larger than I thought. After only a short time of applying online sales via Facebook, Zalo, Tiktok and e-commerce platforms, orders have increased significantly, and the brand of Dam Doi crab products is better recognized by customers.
According to Ms. Xa, digital transformation has really created great opportunities for OCOP entities, selling products through social networking platforms will easily attract market attention in the online community.
Mr. Khuu Van Chuong, SK NONI Company (Loi An commune, Tran Van Thoi district) said: With SK NONI Company's noni juice product, in addition to finding markets by direct methods as before, we have applied digital platforms and achieved many positive results. The amount of goods consumed has increased significantly, the market has expanded in some localities in the country.
Deputy Director in charge of the Investment Promotion and Enterprise Support Center of Ca Mau Province (iPEC) Truong Ha Phuong Anh said: Applying technology to promote and consume OCOP products is very necessary. The Center has established a Fanpage to connect and support the consumption of OCOP products in the province, put into operation the province's OCOP product sales channel, helping the subjects to easily introduce products.
