* In Hoa Lu district, the launching ceremony of "Tree Planting Festival to forever remember Uncle Ho" Spring Giap Thin 2024 was held at Dong Dot residential area, Ninh Thang commune.
In recent years, implementing Uncle Ho's teaching "Spring is the season for tree planting, making the country more and more springy", Hoa Lu district has organized the tree planting festival more and more practically and effectively, associated with building new rural areas, urban areas, green, clean, civilized and modern tourist areas and spots; contributing to protecting and improving environmental quality; striving to build a "Millennium Heritage" urban area in the coming time.
To continue to maintain and spread the good meaning of the Tree Planting Festival to each person and each household, the representative of Hoa Lu district's leadership requested that agencies, units, communes, villages, hamlets and people in the area actively compete in planting trees, raise their sense of responsibility and have many specific measures to protect trees, especially in localities located in the core area of Trang An World Cultural and Natural Heritage.

* In Yen Mo district, the launching ceremony of "Tet tree planting to forever remember Uncle Ho" Spring Giap Thin 2024 was held in Yen Thanh commune. Attending were representatives of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development; district leaders and a large number of local officials, party members and people.
In recent years, the tree planting movement at the beginning of the year in Yen Mo district has become a widespread, vibrant mass movement, spreading throughout residential areas. Thereby, not only beautifying the landscape and environment but also making an important and practical contribution to the construction of new rural areas, advanced new rural areas, and developing the local economy and society.
Responding to the program of planting 1 billion trees "For a green Vietnam", from 2021 to now, the whole district has planted 535,000 trees of all kinds. Of which, 230,000 trees were planted in 2023 alone. In 2024, Yen Mo district continues to strive to plant 230,000 more trees. In which, mainly scattered trees, shade trees and fruit trees, creating landscapes and environments at traffic routes, agencies, offices, schools, residential areas, sports fields, cultural houses, relic sites...; planting trees to renovate mixed gardens, building model gardens. Particularly on the first day of launching the Giap Thin Spring Tree Planting Festival, the district strives to plant 6,500 trees.
Immediately after the launching ceremony, delegates and people of Yen Thanh commune participated in planting nearly 100 Taiwan banyan trees along the road from the Kenh market intersection to the commune police headquarters, to spread the meaning and sense of responsibility of the entire Party and people for planting trees, protecting the environment and restoring the ecosystem.
* At the District Police headquarters, the District Party Committee, People's Council, and People's Committee of Gia Vien district organized the launching ceremony of "Tet tree planting to forever remember Uncle Ho", opening the task of tree planting - afforestation in 2024.
Speaking at the launching ceremony, the leader of the District People's Committee highlighted the importance and significance, the good tradition of tree planting to create jobs, create economic value from forestry, at the same time beautify the landscape, protect the ecological environment, and create a sustainable tourism environment.
Responding to the Tet tree planting movement initiated by Uncle Ho, every year when spring comes, on the occasion of the traditional Tet holiday of the nation, everywhere, every household, every person participates in the tree planting and forest planting movement.
The tree planting movement over the years in Gia Vien district has not only become a traditional cultural beauty, but also brought great economic and social benefits, enhanced protection capacity, responded to climate change, mitigated natural disasters, improved the quality of the living environment, and contributed to improving the material and spiritual life of the people.
After the launching ceremony, delegates, teachers and students of Me Town Secondary School planted trees in the campus of Gia Vien District Police headquarters.
It is known that, in order to create a fresh environment, green, clean and beautiful landscape, right from the stage of completion and preparation for the inauguration of the office, the District Police proactively planned, mobilized officers, soldiers and socialized the planting of 250 trees in the campus of the District Police headquarters with a budget of more than 300 million VND. Up to now, the planted trees have all grown well.
In 2024, Gia Vien district strives to plant 220,000 scattered trees of all kinds, of which, during this spring tree planting festival alone, the district will plant 2,545 trees.
* On the morning of February 15, at the district's Central Cultural House, the People's Committee of Nho Quan district organized a launching ceremony for the "Forever grateful to Uncle Ho" tree planting festival in the spring of Giap Thin 2024 and responded to the program of planting one billion trees in the period of 2021-2025.
Responding to the One Billion Tree Planting Program for the 2021-2025 period launched by the Prime Minister, Nho Quan has registered to plant 1,510,000 trees. As a result, in 3 years (from 2021 to the end of 2023), the whole district has planted 820,598 scattered trees, reaching 94.9% of the plan, mainly native tree varieties, timber trees, associated with the conservation of rare local tree resources.
In 2024, the entire district strives to plant 320,000 scattered trees of all kinds. In this year's spring tree planting campaign alone, the district strives to plant 40,000 trees.
In order for the launching ceremony of the Giap Thin Spring Tree Planting Festival 2024 to be meaningful and effective, and at the same time respond to the Government's One Billion Tree Planting Program for the 2021-2025 period with high efficiency, Nho Quan district requests that the district's agencies, departments, branches, central and provincial agencies and units located in the district, communes and towns promote information and propaganda work, raise awareness of the meaning and benefits of planting trees and afforestation, creating a vibrant and widespread spring tree planting movement throughout the district.
Along with planting and caring for trees, it is necessary to strengthen the work of protecting and preventing forest fires; linking the economic benefits of tree planting with the responsibility of each citizen, in order to encourage people to actively participate in tree planting and afforestation, considering this an important task contributing to rapid and sustainable socio-economic development; enhancing the role and responsibility in the management and direction of tree planting, care and protection.
The District People's Committee assigned the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development to preside over and coordinate with agencies, units and People's Committees of communes and towns to direct and urge tree planting on roads, cultural houses and schools to ensure effectiveness, practicality and avoid formality.

* On the morning of February 15 (the 6th day of the Lunar New Year), at the headquarters of the Van Hai Commune Police, Kim Son District, the launching ceremony of "Tree Planting Festival to forever remember Uncle Ho" was held.
Launching the Spring Tree Planting Festival of Giap Thin 2024, the leaders of Kim Son district emphasized that, following the teachings of President Ho Chi Minh "Spring is the Tree Planting Festival, making the country more and more springy", in recent years, the Party Committee, government, agencies, units and people in the district have always identified tree planting as an important task, closely associated with the process of building new rural areas of the district.
In 2023, the whole district planted more than 90,000 scattered trees, reaching 100% of the plan; planted 92.6 hectares of new coastal protection mangrove forests with non-refundable aid from the Korean Government, contributing to creating beautiful natural landscapes, protecting the environment, and responding to climate change.
In 2024, Kim Son district strives to plant 10,200 trees of all kinds, of which 200 trees were planted at the launching ceremony; the remaining communes and towns mainly plant mango, tamarind, casuarina, etc.
After the launching ceremony, leaders of Kim Son district and delegates, teachers and students of Van Hai Secondary School participated in planting trees in the campus of Van Hai Commune Police Headquarters.
* In the joyful and exciting atmosphere with other localities in the province, Yen Khanh District People's Committee also organized the launching ceremony of "Tree Planting Festival to forever remember Uncle Ho" in the Spring of Giap Thin.
Over the years, the Party Committee, government, agencies, units and people of Yen Khanh district have always identified tree planting as an important task, closely associated with the process of building new rural areas and advanced new rural areas of the district.
Many localities have actively converted the crop structure from rice fields to fruit trees, which not only bring high income but also have products to build the OCOP brand. The movement to build tree and flower roads led by organizations has created a competitive atmosphere among the people. Many roads have been planted and carefully cared for, becoming places for people and tourists to visit and take photos.
Up to now, Yen Khanh has 10 new rural communes, 2 model new rural communes, 186 model hamlets, and 162 model gardens. In 2023, the whole district will plant more than 15,000 trees.
In 2024, the district will continue to effectively implement the tree planting movement, paying special attention to the quality of the plants and ensuring that the plants survive and grow after planting, striving for the ratio of green trees in public places to reach 4m2/person according to the criteria for advanced new rural communes.

* On the morning of February 15, the Provincial Military Command organized the launching ceremony of the "Forever grateful to Uncle Ho" tree planting festival in the Spring of Giap Thin 2024. Attending were comrades in the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, Heads of the Provincial Military Command, Commanders of agencies and units.
At the launching ceremony, the Provincial Military Command called on all officers and soldiers of the provincial armed forces to actively participate in the Tree Planting Festival "Forever grateful to Uncle Ho" and respond to the Program of planting 1 billion trees "For a green Vietnam", actively contributing to environmental protection, climate change mitigation and natural disaster prevention and mitigation, and improving the ecological environment.
Immediately after the launching ceremony, officers and soldiers of agencies and units planted nearly 1,000 new trees, mainly shade trees, fruit trees, and timber trees in the training area. Along with that, this year, the Provincial Military Command directed agencies, units, and Military Commands of districts and cities to simultaneously launch and plant 5,000 new trees of all kinds.
This is an annual activity organized by the Provincial Military Command to promote and educate officers and soldiers of the provincial armed forces to better understand the role, meaning and importance of the Tree Planting Festival, contributing to building a green, clean and beautiful landscape, barracks and training areas.
