Localities visit and give gifts to Agent Orange victims

On April 25 and 26, the Association of Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin in localities organized a gift-giving ceremony for Agent Orange victims, on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day, and the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Tay Ninh (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).

* The Association of Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin in Tay Ninh City organized a delegation to visit families of victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin in Ward 1, Ward 2 and Ward 3.

The delegation visited the families of Mr. Tran Hong Tu, residing in Ward 1 and Mr. Ho Thanh Tuyen, residing in Ward 2, who were resistance fighters exposed to toxic chemicals, former leaders of the province and city through the periods; Ms. Nguyen Thi Le Nga and Ms. Huynh Thi Thu, victims of Agent Orange residing in Ward 3.

The delegation visited Mr. Tran Hong Tu's family.

At the places visited, the City Association of Agent Orange/Dioxin Victims encouraged, asked about the health and life of the victims and gave each victim's family a gift worth 1,000,000 VND.

During this visit and gift giving event, from mobilized sources, the City Association of Agent Orange/Dioxin Victims and Ward and Commune Associations presented more than 50 gifts and supported livelihood capital for 3 families of victims in difficult economic circumstances with a total amount of more than 70 million VND.

Ha Nam

* The Association of Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin in Thai Binh Commune, Chau Thanh District organized the presentation of 66 gifts to Agent Orange victims in the area.

The total value of the gifts is more than 28 million VND, taken from the fund to care for victims of Agent Orange and people with disabilities of the commune.

Ha Quang

* The Association of Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin in Suoi Ngo Commune, Tan Chau District presented 22 gifts to victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin in difficult circumstances in the area.

Each gift is 400 thousand VND in cash. Suoi Ngo commune currently has 63 victims of Agent Orange, of which 22 are resistance fighters, 12 are children of resistance fighters, 4 are grandchildren of resistance fighters, and the rest are civilians. There are 3 households with 3 victims and 8 households with 2 victims.
