The representative of the global fashion retail brand Uniqlo from Japan has just officially announced the launch of the 5-year milestone anniversary program in Vietnam, starting from November 29 to December 5. With the message "Thank you Vietnam - Always love," the program includes a series of activities to express gratitude to customers, along with exclusive gifts taking place throughout Uniglo's retail and online stores.
Uniqlo Vietnam General Director, Mr. Nishida Hideki, said that on this meaningful occasion, Uniqlo has cooperated with The Walt Disney to launch a special collection exclusively for the Vietnamese market, called "Mickey Mouse in Vietnam."
Inspired by traditional cuisine and costumes, the collection features patterns that recreate images imbued with Vietnamese identity, from conical hats, ao dai, to dishes such as bread and fried fish and beef balls, thereby honoring the uniqueness of Vietnamese street culture.
The “Mickey Mouse in Vietnam” collection includes four designs for men and women, officially available at all 26 Uniqlo retail stores in Vietnam and online stores from today, November 29.
In addition, Uniqlo also collaborated with young artist Chung Pham to realize the idea in the new collection “UTme! Folklore Chronicles.” With the theme “Folklore Chronicles,” the collection includes four unique patterns, inspired by Vietnamese folk culture.
Familiar images such as to he (toy figurines), carrying poles, cyclos and water puppetry are vividly recreated in each motif, bringing a unique, familiar yet impressive and modern cultural breath.

The collection “UTme! Folklore Chronicles” will officially be available at 4 stores in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, from November 29.
