Within the framework of the opening ceremony of the "Hanoi Convention 2025," a high-level seminar on the theme "Promoting international cooperation in preventing and combating cybercrime" emphasized that cybercrime is a borderless challenge, threatening national security and sovereignty .
Delegates argued that no country can respond alone and that increased international cooperation, information sharing, technology transfer, and training of law enforcement personnel are necessary.
Deputy Minister of Public Security Pham The Tung proposed strengthening public-private cooperation, enhancing the coordinating role of the United Nations and the International Criminal Police Organization (INTERPOL), and promptly incorporating the Convention's provisions into domestic law to improve the effectiveness of investigation, prosecution, and prevention of cybercrime.
