
According to a quick report from the Defense Command of Region 3 - Tra My, as of October 26, the entire area recorded 13 landslides, 7 points affecting residential areas and 13 flooded points; many roads were cut off.
The water level at Song Tum bridge (village 14, Lanh Ngoc commune) is about 3m deep; many areas in Tra Linh, Tra Giap, Tra Tan, Tra My, Tra Leng communes... are deeply flooded and have severe landslides. In particular, National Highway 40B has a positive slope landslide, completely cutting off traffic to the communes...

Faced with the complicated flood situation, local authorities and armed forces of communes urgently deployed response plans, evacuating 149 households with 518 people to safety.
At the same time, nearly 640 cadres, soldiers, militia and commune police were mobilized to help people relocate their properties, build temporary shelters, and initially overcome the consequences.
The Defense Command of Region 3 - Tra My has sent 19 officers and soldiers to directly support the evacuation of people from Song Tranh village (Tra Tan commune) to a safe place; as well as closely coordinate with local forces to promptly respond to landslides and floods.
Currently, forces continue to be on duty 24/7 in vulnerable areas, ready to respond to situations of heavy rain and landslides that may continue, to ensure the safety of people's lives and property.
