Ca Da Bridge on National Highway 24C is sinking, the City Department of Construction urgently directed

DNO - On the afternoon of October 26, a deep hole appeared on Ca Da bridge on National Highway 24C (connecting Da Nang city with Quang Ngai province) on the road leading to the bridge.

According to initial information, the rising, fast-flowing floodwaters have eroded deep into the roadbed leading to Ca Da bridge, causing it to collapse. This bridge is the boundary between Tra Lien and Tra Tan communes; the collapsed location is in Tra Tan commune.

At the time of the incident, a motorbike fell off the bridge, fortunately the person on board did not fall off. The Da Nang City Department of Construction directed the road management unit to quickly put up a road closure to ensure safety; then they will check and deploy solutions to fix the problem.

The Department of Construction recommends that people should minimize traffic during heavy rain and at night, when many key traffic routes have been or are experiencing landslides and floodwaters.

Currently, National Highway 40B through the area of ​​Bac Tra My and Nam Tra My (old) is continuing to experience serious landslides. People are absolutely advised not to travel on the road to ensure safety.
