Faced with the complicated and dangerous developments and impacts of storm No. 13 (Kalmaegi), Squadron 129 has directed the Logistics and Technical Service Centers of Truong Sa Island and Sinh Ton Island (Truong Sa Special Zone) to do a good job of preparation and be ready to arrange to ensure the highest safety for fishermen to take shelter from storm No. 13.

Many fishing boats have been guided into the harbor to anchor and take shelter from the storm.

Major Do Van Tuyen, Commander of Sinh Ton Island Logistics and Technical Service Center, said: "The Center has arranged forces and means to implement storm prevention plans, reinforce embankments, arrange anchorage locations, and work with people to tie up ships to ensure safety; at the same time, take advantage of spaces and arrange additional resting places for fishermen at the Center when necessary."

In addition, the ports continue to contact and guide people who are still exploiting seafood in the area to take shelter through the fishing boat communication device, and support many instant noodles, vegetables, fresh water, medicine, medical supplies, and technical supplies for people during the time fishing boats take shelter from the storm.

Support instant noodles for fishermen to avoid storms at the fishing port in Truong Sa.

The Logistics and Technical Service Centers are not only strategic fulcrums on the front lines of the sea and islands of the Fatherland, but also vivid symbols of the military-civilian relationship at the forefront, contributing to consolidating the people's hearts and minds, affirming the sacred sovereignty of the Fatherland at sea, clearly demonstrating the responsibility and deep affection between the military and the people on remote islands.
