The floor score threshold of basic schools is within the framework prescribed by the Ministry of Education and Training, with the lowest level from 17 points.
Hanoi Medical University is currently the school with the highest minimum score among the medical schools with 22.5 points, applied to the majors of Medicine , Dentistry; followed by Traditional Medicine with 20 points. The remaining majors all have the same minimum score of 17 points, equal to the minimum score. This minimum score is applied to all combinations according to each training major, and admission is based on the 2025 High School Graduation Exam scores.

Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy announced the minimum score from 17 to 22 points for 16 training majors. Similar to Hanoi Medical University, the minimum score is also applied to the admission combinations for each major. The highest minimum score is for Medicine and Dentistry with 22 points, followed by Traditional Medicine with 19 points, specifically as follows:
Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine has a lower minimum score, ranging from 16 to 21 points. The Medicine and Dentistry majors have a minimum score of 21 points, followed by Pharmacy with 20 points, and Traditional Medicine with 19 points. The Nutrition, Ophthalmology, and Public Health majors have a minimum score of 16 points. These majors are not on the list of majors with minimum scores set by the Ministry of Education and Training.

Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy sets the minimum score equal to the threshold set by the Ministry of Education and Training, from 17 to 20.5 points. The two majors with the highest minimum scores are Medicine and Dentistry with 20.5 points; Pharmacy and Traditional Medicine both have 19 points; the remaining majors have 17 points.
Hai Phong University of Medicine and Pharmacy has the same minimum score regulations as Can Tho University in the admission method based on High School Graduation Exam scores.
In addition to this method, Hai Phong University of Medicine and Pharmacy also considers admission based on academic records with a floor score 3.5 to 5 points higher than the High School Graduation Exam score. In this method, the school stipulates the floor score for the majors of Medicine, Pharmacy, and Dentistry as the average score of 3 years of study in grades 10, 11, and 12 of the subjects in the subject group registered for admission plus priority points (if any). For the remaining majors, the admission score is the average score of the entire 12th grade of the subjects in the subject group registered for admission plus regional priority points, priority points for subjects (if any).

Nam Dinh University of Nursing has the lowest minimum score of only 15 points for Nutrition, the admission method is based on High School Graduation Exam scores. Nursing and Midwifery have the same score of 17 points.
