Flood warning due to heavy rain in Dong Nai

(DN) - On the afternoon of October 25, Dong Nai Hydrometeorological Station reported: In some communes and wards of Dong Nai province, there is heavy rain.

Warning: Low-lying roads and areas in the following communes and wards: Bien Hoa, Tran Bien, Long Binh, Tam Hiep, Trang Dai, Tan An, Tri An and neighboring areas are at risk of flooding due to heavy rain.

Flooding time is about 30-60 minutes; the banks of small rivers and streams may be flooded longer and deeper due to prolonged heavy rain combined with the amount of water flowing from upstream. The deepest depth due to flooding is about 50cm; the banks of small rivers and streams may be flooded deeper.

Flood disaster risk level: Level 1.

Heavy rains are continuing in the above mentioned areas and spreading to neighboring areas. It is necessary to proactively respond to the risk of flooding caused by heavy rains in low-lying areas, areas with inadequate drainage systems or areas under construction and repair.
