The Bad Romance singer made no mention of the hate plot when she shared about her concert in Brazil on Instagram on May 3.
On May 4, she wrote: "Nothing can take away the feeling I had during last night's performance. It was a great pride and joy to sing for the Brazilian people."
Lady Gaga, born Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta, added: "The sight of the crowd listening to the opening songs took my breath away. I hope you know how grateful I am to share this historic moment with you. An estimated 2.5 million people came to see me sing, the largest crowd for any female artist in history." The night surpassed the previous record held by Madonna, who drew 1.6 million viewers, also at Copacabana Beach in May 2024.
Lady Gaga thanked the "little monsters" for their love and support: "I will never forget this moment. Little monsters, raise your hands. Love you."
