Hoa Lien - Tuy Loan Expressway is ready for technical traffic.

The Hoa Lien - Tuy Loan expressway section running through Da Nang city with a total investment of more than VND 2,112 billion is ready for technical traffic opening on August 19, 2025.

According to the report of the Ho Chi Minh Road Project Management Board, the investor of the Hoa Lien - Tuy Loan section of the North - South Eastern Expressway project, the construction units are speeding up the construction progress of the remaining items to open to technical traffic in August 2025.

The Hoa Lien - Tuy Loan expressway section of the North - South expressway in the East passes through Da Nang city with a total length of 11.47km; the total investment is more than 2,112 billion VND.

The Hoa Lien - Tuy Loan expressway section is being accelerated for completion.

According to the Ho Chi Minh Road Project Management Board, the project is being constructed by contractors to ensure progress.

The project strives to technically open the expressway to traffic on August 19, 2025 and complete the entire project in November 2025 according to the contract schedule.

Regarding the site handover, the Ho Chi Minh Road Project Management Board said that the project has been handed over the entire clean site for the expressway.

Regarding the service road and the crossroad, there are still 5 households that have not yet moved their houses and structures to hand over the land. In addition, there are some households that have been compensated but have not yet moved their houses and structures.

The Hoa Lien - Tuy Loan expressway section is expected to be technically opened to traffic on August 19, 2025.

Regarding the construction of resettlement areas to serve the project, resettlement area No. 1 is under construction; resettlement area No. 2 is in the process of project appraisal and approval and is expected to start construction in the third quarter of 2025; and resettlement area No. 3 is implementing planning approval procedures and is expected to start construction in the fourth quarter of 2025.

The entire 3 resettlement areas are expected to be completed by the end of 2026 by the Management Board of Priority Infrastructure Investment Projects of Da Nang City.

The Hoa Lien - Tuy Loan expressway section has a total investment of more than 2,112 billion VND.

Previously, the Government Office issued Official Dispatch No. 7310/VPCP-CN on urgently reviewing and removing difficulties and obstacles related to 4 key traffic projects scheduled to be completed in 2025 under Inspection Team No. 1.

According to the proposed schedule, the four North-South expressway projects of Hoa Lien - Tuy Loan, Quang Ngai - Hoai Nhon, Hoai Nhon - Quy Nhon and Quy Nhon - Chi Thanh sections under Inspection Team No. 1 will have about 86.47/231.27km of technical traffic opened on August 19, 2025.

The Hoa Lien - Tuy Loan expressway is one of four key expressways passing through the Central region.

By the end of September 2025, about 114.7km more will be technically open to traffic and the remaining 30.1km will be completed in December 2025.

To ensure the progress of project completion, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh - Head of Inspection Team No. 1 requested the localities of Da Nang, Quang Ngai, Gia Lai, and Dak Lak to mobilize authorities and functional agencies to organize construction protection at locations and sections of roads that have been handed over; continue to organize construction protection according to the contractor's plan.
