In the Kera vegetable candy case, the Police Investigation Agency of the Ministry of Public Security determined that four defendants from Chi Em Rot Group Joint Stock Company, along with Nguyen Thuc Thuy Tien (Miss Grand International 2021), had committed acts of deceiving customers.
The four defendants include: Le Tuan Linh (Director, legal representative), Nguyen Thi Thai Hang (Hang "Ngu Muc", Chairman of the Board of Directors), Le Thanh Cong and Pham Quang Linh (Quang Linh Vlogs).
The investigation concluded that in July 2024, Quang Linh Vlogs and Hang "Ngu Muc," along with several associates, discussed establishing a company operating in the field of livestreaming and online sales.
Le Thanh Cong is a notable figure in the case. During the meetings, he proposed the idea of producing vegetable-based candies and expressed his desire to give the product to Nguyen Thuc Thuy Tien because the beauty queen "doesn't like eating vegetables." He also suggested inviting Tien to participate in the project and take responsibility for renting office space and finding a candy manufacturer.
Le Thanh Cong, born in 1989 (Thanh Vinh Ward, Nghe An Province ) - Member of the Board of Directors of Chi Em Rot Company. At the time of its establishment in November 2024, Cong contributed 19% of the charter capital, equivalent to 950 million VND, second only to Hang "Du Muc" (25%).
Although not widely known to the public, Le Thanh Cong plays a key role in organizing and managing the behind-the-scenes operations of livestreaming Kera vegetable candy sales by Quang Linh Vlogs, Hang "Du Muc", and Thuy Tien.
Before collaborating with Thuy Tien on this project, Le Thanh Cong and Thuy Tien had a business relationship since 2021 – before Thuy Tien was crowned Miss Vietnam, when they were two founding shareholders of Pharco Vietnam Joint Stock Company.

The company's initial charter capital was 4 billion VND. Le Thanh Cong held 55% of the shares, and Thuy Tien contributed 10%. This company is the managing entity and exclusive distributor of the Adopt' perfume brand in Vietnam. Four months after the company's establishment, Quang Linh Vlogs quickly joined, introduced as the company's Vice President.
Appearing as shareholders in numerous businesses and having connections with the Quang Linh Vlogs group, Thùy Tiên and Lê Thành Công have created a notable partnership across various fields such as food, cosmetics, and consumer products.
Prior to his arrest, Le Thanh Cong was also the legal representative and co-founder of approximately six other businesses and business units in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. However, after his indictment in April, many of these related businesses also experienced significant changes.

Specifically, Le Thanh Cong previously held the position of Director or General Director, and Legal Representative at numerous businesses in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, operating in various sectors such as programming, advertising, fashion, and real estate.
Examples include Boxi Vietnam, 6INCH Vietnam, ADS Group Vietnam, and Sen Property, with registered capital ranging from a few hundred million to 6 billion VND. However, according to data from the National Business Registration Portal, most of these companies are no longer operating at their registered addresses.
Le Thanh Cong also previously served as the legal representative for Haravan Technology Joint Stock Company's office in Hanoi, but that office has since ceased operations.
This individual also contributed capital to establish several other companies, such as contributing 3 billion VND (equivalent to 60% of the capital) to establish BB Capital Investment Joint Stock Company in June 2021; and contributing 500 million VND (equivalent to 20% of the capital) to establish F99 Investment and Technology Joint Stock Company in August 2019.
