Approval to assign Masterise Group to set up Phu My 2 bridge project connecting Ho Chi Minh City with Dong Nai

Accordingly, Masterise Company is responsible for balancing its own budget (not using the city budget) to research and prepare a report proposing the project investment policy. The deadline assigned to complete the report proposing the project investment policy and submit it to the competent authority is 12 months from the date of issuance of the official dispatch. In case the project is not approved by the competent authority or the 12-month deadline has passed without completing the proposal, Masterise Company is considered to have refused to continue investing and will be responsible for all expenses incurred...

The assignment of the project investment proposal report does not require the appointment of Masterise Company as the project investor. The City will organize the selection of the project investor in accordance with current legal regulations.

Previously, Masterise Company proposed the Phu My 2 Bridge Construction Project, 6.3km long, starting at Nguyen Huu Tho Street (Ho Chi Minh City) and ending at the inter-port road ( Dong Nai Province). The route has 8 lanes with a total preliminary investment of about 12.9 trillion VND.

The Phu My 2 Bridge Construction Project is one of the traffic projects connecting Ho Chi Minh City with Dong Nai that the two localities have agreed on the necessity of investment and construction. In October 2025, the Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee also issued an official dispatch agreeing with the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee that the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee is the competent authority to implement the Phu My 2 Bridge Construction Project.
