Candidates participate in the contest online on software set up by the provincial Departmentof Education and Training and are divided into three groups. In which, primary school candidates participate in the programming skills competition, using the Python programming language to solve math problems suitable for the primary school program within 120 minutes.

The junior high school block has a test time of 150 minutes, using programming languages ​​such as Pascal, Python to program with algorithms in the junior high school program. The high school block has a test time of 180 minutes, using programming languages ​​such as Pascal, C/C++, Python to program with algorithms suitable for high school students.
