Fire at Nguyen Kim complex project, black smoke billowing

As of 11:00 a.m. on October 4, authorities were still on duty at the scene of the fire at the Nguyen Kim complex project center in Da Nang.

Right at the beginning of Hai Phong Street (intersection with Dien Bien Phu Street, Da Nang ), the police have temporarily blocked off the area. Inside, dozens of fire police officers and soldiers were sweating profusely after extinguishing the fire at the Nguyen Kim complex project center.

According to initial information, the fire broke out at around 9:50 am on October 4. Nearby residents said smoke was coming from the basement and ground floor of the building. Then black smoke billowed out and covered the outside. Workers working there quickly moved out.

About 6-7 specialized fire trucks and dozens of officers and soldiers of the fire prevention, firefighting and rescue police (Da Nang Police) were present at the scene immediately after receiving the information.

Many police officers and soldiers brought specialized equipment and gas masks to approach and put out the fire.

By about 11:00 a.m. the same day, the fire was basically extinguished.

According to the project introduction board, the investor of the Nguyen Kim complex high-rise project is Nguyen Kim Da Nang Trading Joint Stock Company.
