Báo Dân tríBáo Dân trí13/12/2024

(Dan Tri) - With the group's characteristic musical color, the song "Winter Day" brings a deep melody, evoking nostalgic emotions and warmth for the last days of the year.

As a familiar tradition every year-end, the band Chillies continues to release the MV Winter Day on December 12. The song has an alternative rock melody, conveying a profound message about tranquility, nostalgia and hope for bright beginnings.

Following emotional hits like Mascara or Memory Zone , Chillies once again affirms the group's distinctive musical style, bringing melodies that are both familiar and touch the hearts of the audience.

Set in a room of memories with warm and dark tones, the MV Winter Day evokes a gentle nostalgia and a sense of hope. The song not only carries deep sadness but also acts as a gentle whisper, guiding listeners to discover their own meanings through each melody.

The MV creates an impression by switching from black and white to warm tones, combined with the images of "sunlight burying the night" and "the pain gradually fading away".

This contrast highlights the journey from pain to healing, bringing a sense of peace and hope. The song is especially suitable for the end of the year, when everyone wants to find peace of mind.

It seems that every year-end, Chillies sends the audience a musical gift, marking the maturity of their artistic journey.

Since officially debuting in October 2018 with their debut product Who? (The Tinder Song) , Chillies has quickly left an impression on audiences with their signature melodies and distinct musical personality.

With each passing year, Chillies leaves behind more unforgettable impressions. From Và thế là cảt - the first step to bring the group's name closer to the public, to Mascara - the hit that was most warmly received by the audience in their career, or their debut studio album Qua khung cua canh in 2020.

Notably, in 2023, Chillies held its first concert called Above the Clouds , an event marking a milestone of maturity after 7 years of operation.

In 2024, Chillies opened with the double single Dai Lo Mat Troi , their first international collaboration with male singer Morisaki Win, and appeared in the line-up of LuckyFes - a music and culture festival in Japan.

Ending 2024, Winter Day was born as an emotional gift, closing a year with many marks and maturity of the band.

"We dedicate this song to the audience who have supported Chillies for the past 7 years. The name Chillies would not exist without everyone's support. This song will close a chapter of a beautiful youth, with many challenges that we thought were impossible to overcome. We dare not promise anything, we just hope that everyone will enjoy these melodies once again," the members shared.

Chillies is a Vietnamese Pop/Rock band consisting of 4 members: Tran Duy Khang, Nhim Bien, Nguyen Van Phuoc, and Si Phu.

The group was formed in October 2018 and is managed by Warner Music Vietnam.

At the 2021 Dedication Awards, Chillies received two nominations in the categories of Music Video of the Year (for the song Just Chill ) and New Artist of the Year (for Tran Duy Khang, the group's main singer and composer).
