"The Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference is ready to expand cooperation with the Vietnam Fatherland Front"

Vietnam believes that the friendly and cooperative relationship between the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference will continuously develop to new heights, commensurate with the level of Vietnam-China relations.

Within the framework of the visit and work in China, on the afternoon of April 24, in Beijing, the high-ranking delegation of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front led by Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Ha, member of the Party Central Committee, Vice President, General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, met with Mr. Wang Huning, member of the Standing Committee of the Politburo of the Communist Party of China, Chairman of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference.

At the meeting, Vice President and General Secretary Nguyen Thi Thu Ha respectfully conveyed the best regards and wishes of Mr. Do Van Chien, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and other Party and State leaders to Comrade Vuong Ho Ninh; emphasizing that Mr. Do Van Chien always remembers the content of the discussion and is ready to maintain regular exchanges between the two sides to build a good and trustworthy relationship, contributing to promoting the relationship between the two Parties, the two countries and the cooperation between the two Front and CPPCC organizations to continuously develop to new heights.

Vice President and General Secretary Nguyen Thi Thu Ha warmly congratulated China on its great achievements in recent times; congratulated the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and the National People's Congress on successfully organizing the 3rd Session of the 14th National People's Congress; and warmly congratulated the great achievements that the Party, State and people of China have achieved in more than 40 years of reform and opening up and more than 10 years of the new era under the leadership of General Secretary and President Xi Jinping.

In that common achievement, there is the contribution of the Chinese National People's Political Consultative Conference and the personal role of Mr. Wang Huning - both a senior leader and an outstanding theorist.

Vice President and Secretary General Nguyen Thi Thu Ha stated that Vietnam always considers developing relations with China a consistent policy, a natural choice, a strategic choice and a top priority in its foreign policy; supports China's strong development, promoting its positive role in peace, stability and prosperity of the region and the world.

On this occasion, on behalf of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the Vietnamese people, Vice President and General Secretary Nguyen Thi Thu Ha expressed her deep gratitude for the great and important support of the Party, State and people of China in Vietnam's past struggle for national independence and in the current cause of national construction and development.

Vice President and General Secretary Nguyen Thi Thu Ha said the third people-to-people exchange is the concretization of the common perception between the two highest leaders of the two Parties, especially after the recent very successful visit of General Secretary and President of China Xi Jinping.

This is considered a new milestone in the good relations between the two countries; it is also a practical activity to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.

Affirming that the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference are two organizations that play a very important role in the political and social life of each country, especially in promoting the strength of the entire people; gathering and consolidating social forces and resources at home and abroad to develop the country, Vice President and General Secretary Nguyen Thi Thu Ha was pleased to see that the relationship between the two organizations has achieved many positive results, increasingly deepening, demonstrated through the leaders of the two sides maintaining regular exchanges and contacts; exchanges and cooperation between the Front organizations and the CPPCC in the border localities of the two countries have taken place vigorously.

The fact that the two organizations of the Front/CPPCC successfully coordinated to organize the third Friendship Exchange in Guangxi (China) on April 23 is the clearest proof.

On that basis, in the spirit of “comradeship, brotherhood,” friendship and sincerity, Vice President and General Secretary Nguyen Thi Thu Ha made a number of recommendations such as increasing exchanges and meetings at high and all levels, further consolidating political understanding and trust between the two sides; increasing experience exchanges and information, promoting the role of the Front/CPPCC organizations of the two countries in the new era and development period of each country; promoting the role of the Front/CPPCC organizations of the two countries in promoting people-to-people and youth exchanges of the two countries, stepping up propaganda about the development achievements of each country and the Vietnam-China friendship, thereby consolidating a favorable social foundation for the development of the relationship between the two countries.

Speaking at the meeting, Chairman of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference Wang Huning expressed his joy at welcoming the delegation to China and respectfully sent his regards to Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Do Van Chien.

Recalling the results of the State visit to Vietnam by General Secretary and President of China Xi Jinping from April 14-15, Chairman of the CPPCC Wang Huning stated that in a sincere and friendly atmosphere, the two sides informed each other of the situation of each Party and each country, deeply exchanged opinions and reached important common perceptions on continuing to deepen the Comprehensive Strategic Cooperative Partnership, promoting the building of the Vietnam-China Community of Shared Future of strategic significance.

Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference Wang Huning emphasized that the visit of the high-ranking delegation of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front led by Vice President and General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Nguyen Thi Thu Ha to China is the next event right after the visit of General Secretary and President Xi Jinping to Vietnam.

In particular, the success of the third people-to-people exchange activity is the effective implementation of one of the contents of the Joint Statement between the two countries mentioned.

Introducing to the delegation the highlights of the activities of the Chinese National People's Political Consultative Conference in recent times, Chairman of the Chinese National People's Political Consultative Conference Wang Huning said that with the achieved results, the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference is ready to expand exchange, friendship and cooperation activities with the Vietnam Fatherland Front, especially in delegation exchanges and people-to-people exchanges to enhance learning and sharing of experiences in the process of implementing tasks in order to effectively implement the common perception of the senior leaders of the two Parties and two countries.

Expressing her sincere gratitude for Mr. Wang Huning's sincere and profound opinions on Vietnam, the relationship between the two Parties and two countries, and the good cooperation between the Front and the CPPCC of the two countries, Vice President and General Secretary Nguyen Thi Thu Ha said that she would fully report Mr. Wang Huning's opinions and suggestions to Mr. Do Van Chien; at the same time, she believed that under the strategic direction of the highest leaders of the two Parties and two countries, the direct leadership and regular guidance of the two Chairmen, the traditional friendly and cooperative relationship between the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the CPPCC of China will continuously develop to new heights, commensurate with the level of the Vietnam-China relationship.

Previously, within the framework of the visit, Vice President and General Secretary Nguyen Thi Thu Ha and the delegation visited and worked with the Vietnamese Embassy in Beijing; visited and surveyed the Hung An New Area in Hebei province.
