After graduating from high school, comrade Dang Van Dinh (born in 1976, in Nam Hong Linh ward, Ha Tinh province) passed the entrance exam to the Logistics Academy. After graduating, he was assigned to work at the Military School of Military Region 4, holding the positions of: Battalion Logistics Assistant, Quartermaster Assistant (Logistics Department). In July 2007, he was sent to study Logistics Command and Staff. After graduating, he continued to work at the Military School of Military Region 4 as Quartermaster Assistant, Head of Quartermaster Department, Deputy Head of the Logistics - Technical Department. In December 2020, he was assigned to take up the task of Head of Logistics, Ha Tinh Provincial Military Command.

Having grown up and developed from a grassroots cadre, Lieutenant Colonel Dang Van Dinh clearly understood that, to complete the task, first of all, it is necessary to have a team of cadres and employees who are "both red and professional". With the responsibility of a leader, he and the Party Committee of the department regularly pay attention to training and improving the qualifications of cadres and employees. Along with encouraging cadres and employees to take advantage of their time to self-study, he made a specific training plan for the agency; proposed that superiors send cadres to study at military schools to improve their professional qualifications.
In directing and operating the work, he paid attention to arranging skilled people to work with less skilled people so that they could support and help each other... At the same time, he strictly maintained the working regime during the day and week, doing what time, what work; focused on promoting the exemplary role of the team of cadres in charge, from traveling, wearing clothes to complying with regulations and hours...

Lieutenant Colonel Dang Van Dinh shared: “The secret for the entire industry to successfully complete the assigned tasks is to determine the content and measures to register the commitment to “study and follow Uncle Ho’s example” from the smallest actions. From there, the staff of the Logistics industry, especially the staff in charge at all levels, “self-examine” the content of the registration criteria every day to “self-correct” the content that has not been achieved to overcome and correct it.”
In the role of "industry commander", Lieutenant Colonel Dang Van Dinh has proactively advised on the construction of logistics bases in the defense area. Accordingly, he has advised the Provincial Military Command to build a system of logistics and technical documents, a plan for decentralizing logistics materials, reserve techniques for combat readiness and other unexpected tasks. Up to now, the 3 Regional Defense Commands of Regiment 841 and Camp T34 have built on-site logistics bases, becoming a solid logistics network for the defense area, creating a regular, rich and diverse source of logistics reserves. When a situation occurs, localities from commune to province can mobilize 100% of human resources, vehicles, facilities and logistics reserves for the armed forces to carry out tasks for 7 to 10 days.

The work of increasing livestock production "around the kitchen and around the garden" has also been closely directed by "head of the department" Dang Van Dinh, achieving practical results. Units have proactively invested in developing concentrated production in association with building specific production plans for each month and quarter; determining the structure of crops and livestock suitable for each season and specific conditions; building a reasonable price list for purchasing increased production products to motivate soldiers... Thanks to that, the annual production increase work has reached 100-102% of the planned target; self-sufficient in 100% of green vegetable needs; 90-92% of pork needs, 70-75% of fresh fish..., contributing to improving and enhancing the lives of soldiers.

Not only is he good at advising and directing the quality and in-depth implementation of logistics and technical work for the activities of the provincial military, Senior Lieutenant Colonel Dang Van Dinh also affirmed his level and capacity in competitions and sports competitions at all levels. Notably, at the Ministry-level Logistics Head and Agency Competition, he won third prize; the 2023 "Regular, safe, well-trained transport unit" competition won an excellent prize, comrade Dinh was personally awarded a certificate of merit; the "Building and managing regular, green, clean, beautiful barracks" competition won first prize...
In recognition of the achievements and contributions of comrade Dinh, over the years, he has always been evaluated as having excellently completed his tasks, and has been awarded many noble prizes by the Military Region Command, the Provincial People's Committee, and the Military Command of Ha Tinh province. In particular, for 5 consecutive years, comrade Dinh was awarded the title of Emulation Fighter and many certificates of merit by the Provincial People's Committee; the Logistics - Technical Department was awarded 1 Emulation Flag, 3 titles of Determined to Win Unit by the Military Region 4 Command. This is the motivation for Senior Colonel Dang Van Dinh to continue to promote the achieved results and strive to excellently complete his tasks in the coming time.
