Mr. Phan Thien Dinh holds the position of Deputy Secretary of Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee

On the afternoon of November 17, the Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee held a conference to announce the decision of the Secretariat on the transfer and appointment of Mr. Phan Thien Dinh, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Hue City to hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee, term 2025-2030.

At the conference, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Hong Linh, authorized by the Secretariat, announced the decision on personnel work.

Pursuant to Decision No. 2526-QDNS/TW dated November 14, 2025, the Secretariat decided to transfer, assign and appoint Mr. Phan Thien Dinh, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Hue City to cease participating in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, cease holding the position of Deputy Secretary of the Hue City Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term; transfer and appoint to participate in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee and hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term.

Mr. Phan Thien Dinh (born in 1971), hometown Thuan An ward, Hue city, has a master's degree in public administration, bachelor's degree in economics, bachelor's degree in law, and senior political theory.

Mr. Phan Thien Dinh held many important positions in Thua Thien Hue province (old) such as Deputy Director, Director of the Department of Planning and Investment, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Secretary of the Hue City Party Committee (old) for the 2020-2025 term.

In early 2025, Thua Thien Hue province became a centrally-run city, Mr. Dinh was appointed to hold the position of Secretary of Thuan Hoa District Party Committee.

On June 30, 2025, the Standing Committee of the Hue City Party Committee decided to transfer Mr. Phan Thien Dinh to work at the City People's Council.

On July 16, he was elected to hold the position of Head of the Economic - Budget Committee, City People's Council for the 2021-2026 term.

On October 3, 2025, at the 17th Hue City Party Congress, term 2025-2030, he was elected to hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Hue City Party Committee for the term 2025-2030. On October 17, 2025, the Hue City People's Council elected him to hold the position of Chairman of the Hue City People's Committee for the term 2021-2026.
