9X President of Hanoi Club thanks Mr. Hien, believes Hendrio's successful naturalization

Hanoi FC Chairman Do Vinh Quang believes that winning the V-League championship is the number one goal in the team's 20th anniversary season.

On the morning of August 13, Hanoi FC set out for the 2025-2026 season. On the occasion of its 20th birthday, the capital team is eager to regain the V-League throne after 3 years of waiting.

"This season plays a pivotal role for Hanoi FC to regain the title and reach out to the continental arena. We have carefully prepared our team and signed a contract extension with coach Makoto Teguramori. Mr. Teguramori has had time to get acquainted with the team since the end of last season. Hopefully this will be an advantage for Hanoi FC compared to other teams that have also received investment.

We appreciate big clubs that have invested heavily in both domestic and foreign players such as Hanoi Police Club, Nam Dinh , Ninh Binh, The Cong Viettel. However, Hanoi Club still wants to win against itself first. The players need to focus, unite, and cherish each match," said Chairman Do Vinh Quang of Hanoi Club.

To supplement the 2025 - 2026 V-League, Hanoi FC has brought in 2 foreign players including central defender Adriel da Silva Tadeu, midfielder Willian Ferreira Moraes, and kept Floro da Silva. Hendrio is waiting to be registered as a naturalized player.

"Foreign players are an important piece of the puzzle for Hanoi FC. Seeing other teams investing heavily, we are a bit worried. However, this is the motivation for the team to search for and wait for foreign players to integrate into the club. The advantage of Hanoi FC is that domestic players are trained at the Hanoi youth training center and have many years of playing together. Hanoi's domestic players have played together for many seasons, have had experiences and matured. When foreign players come, they just need time to integrate," Chairman Do Vinh Quang emphasized.

In the case of Hendrio Araujo, Hanoi Club is carrying out naturalization procedures so that the Brazilian midfielder can soon have Vietnamese nationality.

"Hanoi Club is completing procedures for Hendrio to play as a naturalized player. All procedures are in progress. If possible, Hendrio will have time to obtain citizenship. The naturalization process takes time, hopefully completed in August to be able to register in the first 3 rounds," Chairman Do Vinh Quang confirmed.

Established in 2006, Hanoi FC has become the most successful football team in Vietnam with 6 V-League championships (2010, 2013, 2016, 2018, 2019, 2022), 3 National Cups (2019, 2020, 2022), 5 National Super Cups: 2010, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, reaching the semi-finals of the AFC Cup (now AFC Champions League 2) in 2019, bringing the image of the capital's football to the international arena.

Hanoi Club is the place to train and develop many national players such as Van Quyet, Duy Manh, Hung Dung, Thanh Chung, Hai Long..., contributing to the success of Vietnamese football in the regional and continental arenas, such as the runner-up of the 2018 U.23 Asia, the gold medal of the 30th and 31st SEA Games, and the championship of the 2022 and 2024 AFF Cup. In the second leg of the 2024 AFF Cup final, all 3 goals of the Vietnamese team had the mark of Hanoi players.

Along with the departure ceremony, Hanoi FC officially opened and put into operation the official store distributing souvenirs of the capital football team - Hanoi FC Store.

The official store of Hanoi FC was put into operation from August 13 at the A stand, Hang Day Stadium. This will be a shopping and experience space exclusively for fans, where genuine products such as official jerseys, travel jerseys, souvenirs, accessories, commemorative publications, etc. will be displayed and sold. Not only stopping at selling products, the official store of Hanoi FC is also oriented to become a meeting place for the fan community, where interactive activities such as: signing autographs, meeting players, launching new shirt models, etc. will take place.
