Welcoming the Chairman of the Bulgarian National Assembly Rossen Dimitrov Jeliazkov and the high-ranking delegation of the Bulgarian National Assembly, Ninh Binh Provincial Party Secretary Doan Minh Huan thanked the delegation for choosing Ninh Binh as the first destination during his official visit to Vietnam. He also affirmed that the visit of the Chairman of the Bulgarian National Assembly Rossen Dimitrov Jeliazkov contributed to strengthening and further cultivating the good political relationship between the two countries. This will open up opportunities for localities of the two countries, including Ninh Binh, to promote cooperation and development, contributing to deepening the relationship between the two countries.

At the reception, the Secretary of the Ninh Binh Provincial Party Committee outlined the main features of the socio -economic development situation, the potentials and strengths of the locality. The Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee emphasized that Ninh Binh used to be the capital of Dai Co Viet State - the first centralized feudal state in the history of Vietnam, established thousands of years ago, the land associated with many unique architectures and beautiful natural landscapes, containing a rich heritage from ancient times.
It is the center of two major religions in Vietnam: Buddhism and Catholicism. Ninh Binh is proud to have the Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex recognized by UNESCO as a World Cultural and Natural Heritage - the first mixed heritage in Southeast Asia. In 2024, the locality will celebrate the 10th anniversary of the recognition.
Ninh Binh is always steadfast in choosing a green, environmentally friendly development model, taking tourism as a spearhead economic sector, high-tech industry as a driving force, cultural industry and heritage economy as a breakthrough, and ecological agriculture as a pillar. In 2023, the province achieved a growth rate of 7.27%, ranking 23rd out of 63 provinces and cities nationwide. The locality's orientation by 2035 is to become a centrally-governed city with the characteristics of a millennium heritage city, a creative city, deeply integrated into the network of heritage cities, heritage economy, and cultural industry worldwide.

The Ninh Binh Provincial Party Secretary hopes that this visit will create opportunities for the province to expand cooperation with heritage cities with Bulgaria. The good and open foreign relations between the two countries and the two National Assemblies are the basis and premise for cooperation between localities, especially heritage cities, heritage economies, and tourism centers. Ninh Binh hopes to learn about Bulgaria's tourism practices.
Thanking the warm welcome of the leaders of Ninh Binh province, Chairman of the Bulgarian National Assembly Rossen Dimitrov Jeliazkov affirmed that this visit demonstrates the desire to further strengthen the good friendship between the two countries and the two National Assemblies; at the same time, it demonstrates Bulgaria's desire to further promote the good traditional relationship between the two countries and the two National Assemblies.
The Chairman of the Bulgarian National Assembly hopes that the activities to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries in 2025 will be held, marking good results in bilateral relations between the two countries in all fields.
During the period 1950 - 1980, the relationship between the two countries was developed within the framework of the socialist model. During this period, more than 30,000 Vietnamese people had the opportunity to live, study and work in Bulgaria. The relationship between the two countries reached a new step forward. Marked by the event in 2013, the two countries issued a joint statement, with an appendix, opening a new model of economic development cooperation between Vietnam and Bulgaria; including areas such as: energy, economy, culture...
Informing about a number of major diplomatic events scheduled to take place in 2024, the President of the Bulgarian National Assembly believes that the relationship between Bulgaria and Vietnam will continue to be strengthened in all areas, including trade, high technology, culture, tourism, etc.

Quoting the proverb "Horses run in herds, birds fly in companions", Bulgarian National Assembly Chairman Rossen Dimitrov Jeliazkov hopes that in the flight towards the future, towards prosperity, Bulgaria and Vietnam will fly together, go together and on that journey, Bulgaria really hopes that Ninh Binh province will share valuable experiences in socio-economic development.
The Chairman of the Bulgarian National Assembly expressed his belief that the traditional friendship and solidarity between the National Assembly and the people of Bulgaria and Vietnam will continue to grow stronger, and wished Ninh Binh province to develop more strongly.
On this occasion, the two sides exchanged gifts representing the culture of Ninh Binh province and Bulgaria.
