Welcoming National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue and the high-ranking delegation of the Vietnamese National Assembly at the airport were First Vice President of the Thai National Assembly Padipat Suntiphada; Deputy Secretary General, Acting Secretary General of the House of Representatives Arpath Sukhanunth; Thai Ambassador to Vietnam Nikorndej Balankura; Vietnamese Ambassador to Thailand Phan Chi Thanh, along with officials and employees of agencies of the Thai National Assembly, the Vietnamese Embassy in Thailand, and representatives of the Vietnamese community in Thailand. The delegation included members of the Party Central Committee: Secretary General of the National Assembly, Head of the National Assembly Office Bui Van Cuong; Chairman of the National Assembly's Foreign Affairs Committee Vu Hai Ha; Chairman of the National Assembly's Economic Committee Vu Hong Thanh; Lieutenant General Le Tan Toi, Chairman of the National Assembly's Defense and Security Committee; Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Son La Province Nguyen Huu Dong; Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Soc Trang Province Lam Van Man; Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Thanh Hoa Province Do Trong Hung; Senior Lieutenant General Luong Tam Quang, Deputy Minister of Public Security ; Lieutenant General Nguyen Doan Anh, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army... This is the first official visit to Thailand by Comrade Vuong Dinh Hue in his capacity as Chairman of the National Assembly of Vietnam, and also the first visit to Thailand by a senior leader of Vietnam after Thailand established a new Government. The visit is of great significance in the context that the two sides are actively promoting the Action Program to implement the Enhanced Strategic Partnership for the 2022-2027 period and actively implementing practical activities to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the establishment of the Strategic Partnership (2013-2023). During the visit, the two sides are expected to discuss measures to enhance cooperation between the two countries' legislatures within the bilateral and multilateral frameworks; The official visit to the Kingdom of Thailand by National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue aims to continue implementing the foreign policy of the 13th National Party Congress, proactively and actively consolidating and expanding the foundation of political relations, promoting effective and substantive cooperation between Vietnam and Thailand in all fields, through all channels: Party, National Assembly, Government and people-to-people exchange.
