The National Assembly Chairman said that the Law on Medical Examination and Treatment recently passed by the National Assembly allows private enterprises to decide prices as well as increase the autonomy of public medical facilities.
These are important decisions to develop high-tech medical examination and treatment centers, especially in fields such as cardiology, to contribute significantly to saving patients' lives.
Agreeing with the proposal to expand cooperation and association with domestic hospitals, the National Assembly Chairman said that large hospitals and medical universities in the country need to expand cooperation and training with medical examination and treatment facilities abroad and directly examine and treat patients.

La Vie International Hospital is a Grade I hospital licensed by the Lao Ministry of Health with a scale of 50 beds and oriented to develop specialized areas in cardiology and endocrinology invested by Vietnamese overseas enterprises.
Opened in November 2023, the Hospital is a medical examination and treatment facility for the Vietnamese community in Laos and Lao people in need of medical examination and treatment.
The establishment of the Hospital is not only important for the health sector of Laos but also contributes to the development of the Lao economy, demonstrating the increasingly strong connection and cooperation between Laos and Vietnam.

The leaders of La Vie Hospital requested that the authorities pay attention and have policies for joint ventures, associations, and cooperation between overseas Vietnamese medical units and state hospitals in Vietnam to continuously improve professional quality.
Currently, the demand for medical examination and treatment of Lao people is increasing and the model of cooperation with hospitals in Vietnam is a good opportunity for investors to continue expanding medical examination and treatment facilities in Laos.
