On the morning of August 20, 2024, Mr. Tran Quoc Nam, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, received and worked with the Executive Board of Saigon Beer - Alcohol - Beverage Corporation ( SABECO ). On the part of the SABECO Executive Board, there were Mr. Tan Teck Chuan Lester - General Director of SABECO, Mr. Alan Koo Liang Kwee - Deputy General Director in charge of finance of SABECO, Mr. Lam Du An - Deputy General Director in charge of production of SABECO and Mr. Van Thanh Liem - Chairman of the Board of Directors of Saigon Binh Tay Beer Group Joint Stock Company.

According to the synthesis and report of the Department of Industry and Trade, currently in Ninh Thuan , SABECO and Saigon Binh Tay Beer Group Joint Stock Company have 2 beer factories with a capacity of 49 million liters/year each. In 2023, the total output of the 2 factories will reach 37 million liters, revenue will reach 425 billion VND, and the state budget will pay 405 billion VND. Of which, factory 1 produces Saigon Lager beer at about 70% of its design capacity; factory 2 produces Sagota beer at only about 7% of its design capacity.

Speaking at the meeting, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee welcomed the leaders of SABECO and Saigon Binh Tay Beer Corporation and members of the working delegation; in particular, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee highly appreciated the production and business activities of Sabeco in Ninh Thuan in recent years; in which SABECO has always been the leading enterprise in contributing to the provincial budget. The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee said: through use, SABECO's beer products produced in Ninh Thuan have been highly appreciated by consumers in the province, domestic and international friends for their quality, including the factor of Ninh Thuan's water source to produce clean and quality beer. The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested SABECO to pay attention to directing the increase in the production target of Saigon beer in Ninh Thuan from 37.5 million liters to 50-70 million liters in 2024 and the following years, and at the same time develop a specific plan to develop the consumption market, contributing to increasing revenue for the provincial budget. On the side of the Provincial People's Committee, it will direct the Departments, branches and localities to coordinate with Sabeco to implement promotional programs, introduce products at activities and events inside and outside the province; accompany businesses to organize promotional programs, develop consumption channels, create habits of using locally produced products, contribute to the development of SABECO's production and business and the socio -economic development of the province.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Tan Teck Chuan Lester, General Director of SABECO, thanked the Provincial People's Committee for their affection and attention to SABECO's production and business activities in Ninh Thuan over the past years. SABECO acknowledged the province's recommendations and will have specific solutions to promote the production and business of Saigon beer products in Ninh Thuan in the coming time./.
