On the morning of November 12, Mr. Phan Van Trung, Deputy Director of the Department of Construction of Ha Tinh province, said that up to this point, it has not been possible to handle and fix the landslide and positive slope rock that caused traffic disruption and congestion at Km84+700 of the coastal road of Ha Tinh province, through Ky Xuan commune.

Currently, the weather is not guaranteed, the hills along the route in the above area are saturated with water, the scope of landslides and rockslides is too large and complicated, the potential risk of traffic safety is very high. In addition, this area is also related to some areas of forest land...

Therefore, the Department of Construction of Ha Tinh province plans to invite the Civil Defense Command of Ha Tinh province and relevant agencies to inspect and evaluate the current situation, hold meetings to reach consensus and propose solutions and plans before thoroughly handling and overcoming the problem.

Previously, from October 28 to November 4, in Ha Tinh province, there was prolonged heavy rain, many roads had landslides due to water-soaked soil and rocks and weak geology.

In particular, on the coastal road of Ha Tinh province through Cam Trung commune and Ky Xuan commune, landslides and large amounts of positive slope rocks continuously occurred, causing traffic congestion in many locations, including at Km84+700, thousands of cubic meters of soil and rocks blocked the entire road surface.

Nearby areas, such as Km85+750, Km85+800, also had very dangerous landslides.
