The conference focused on giving opinions on the Draft Summary Report on the results of implementing tasks in the first 6 months of the year, key tasks for the last 6 months of 2025 and some other important contents.
According to the draft report, in the first 6 months of 2025, the province's socio -economic situation continued to develop positively. Economic growth is estimated at 8.11%. State budget revenue is estimated at 2,317 billion VND. Cultural and social fields are directed with attention, social security is ensured.
National defense, security, foreign affairs and social order and safety continue to be maintained, preventing the emergence of hot spots in political security and social order and safety.
The work of building the Party and the political system is focused on comprehensively and synchronously. Personnel work is implemented closely, ensuring principles and procedures.
The province focuses on directing the implementation of the Central's conclusions on streamlining the organization and apparatus of the provincial political system; issuing projects on merging, consolidating, and establishing new provincial agencies and units.
At the conference, delegates focused on discussing and giving opinions on issues related to forest protection and management, the merger of provinces and preparations for the operation of the two-level government model; cadre work at the new commune level; progress of some tasks that need to be completed before arranging new provincial and commune-level administrative units, etc.
In his closing speech, Comrade Ngo Thanh Danh, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, emphasized that on July 1, 2025, the Party Committee and the two-level government will officially operate and come into operation. There is not much time left, but the workload is very large, with the spirit of urgency, "running and lining up at the same time", the Provincial Party Committee requested the Provincial Party Committee members, heads of all levels and sectors to uphold the sense of responsibility, lead and direct the completion of unfinished tasks to both complete the activities at the district level and serve the activities at the provincial and commune levels at the same time.
Party committees and authorities at all levels should focus on implementing propaganda work well so that people understand and agree with the Party's guidelines and policies and laws of the State in general, and the arrangement of administrative units and streamlining of the apparatus in particular, especially those affected and influenced by the process of arranging commune-level administrative units.
Provincial Party Committee members continue to monitor assigned areas to direct and guide the work of Party Congresses of newly established communes and wards; at the same time, monitor the situation of organizational structure, facilities, means, working conditions, human resources and finance.
Grasping the thoughts and aspirations of cadres, party members and people in the area during the process of arranging and merging commune-level administrative units to promptly guide and remove difficulties and obstacles according to authority or synthesize reports to the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee to report to the Central Committee according to regulations needs to continue to be focused on.
Agencies and units shall carry out the handover and receipt of records, assets, and administrative boundaries to avoid loss and errors; promptly resolve administrative procedures, regimes, and policies for people and businesses, especially those directly affected by the administrative unit arrangement process.
Regarding socio-economic tasks, the Provincial Party Secretary requested to continue to effectively implement Conclusion No. 123-KL/TW, dated January 24, 2025 of the Party Central Committee, striving for economic growth in 2025 in Dak Nong province to reach over 8.11% to contribute to the overall growth target of Lam Dong province after the merger.
Sectors and localities implement drastic and timely solutions to accelerate the progress of implementation and disbursement of public investment capital as well as review and hand over public investment projects in the 2021-2025 period and in 2025 when implementing the arrangement and reorganization of administrative units at all levels and building a 2-level local government organization model.
All levels, sectors and localities continue to effectively implement national target programs; the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in the province; promote the implementation of Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW, dated December 22, 2024 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation and national digital transformation; Resolution No. 68-NQ/TW, dated May 4, 2025 of the Politburo on private economic development...
All levels, sectors, especially functional forces, must proactively grasp the situation in the locality and at the grassroots level; must not be passive or surprised in any situation; must not be negligent or lose vigilance at the present time; must increase patrols and controls to ensure security, order and social safety in the province.
"Regardless of the circumstances or conditions, we need to unite and enhance our sense of responsibility before the Party and the People to complete assigned tasks," comrade Ngo Thanh Danh suggested.
The Provincial Party Secretary emphasized that the 20th Executive Committee Conference is the last regular conference of the Dak Nong Provincial Party Committee according to the working regulations. After more than 20 years of re-establishment, with great efforts, high determination and consensus of the entire Party, army and people, Dak Nong province has achieved comprehensive development in all fields.
The economy has gradually improved, culture and society have made much progress. National defense and security have been maintained and stabilized. Party building work has been constantly strengthened and innovated.
“Every step of Dak Nong province bears the mark of the steadfast and wise leadership of the provincial Party Committee through the periods; because the goal of escaping from a poor and underdeveloped province has been achieved, now striving to move towards the goal of becoming a strong province, rich people, beautiful nature, a loving society, moving towards happiness as we have discussed and deliberated in the Executive Committee when preparing for the 13th Provincial Party Congress”, the Provincial Party Secretary shared.
Comrade Ngo Thanh Danh emphasized that there is not much time left for the Provincial Party Committee to complete its activities. In order to prepare for the transformation and turning point to move towards a new development stage according to the Central's orientation on streamlining the organization and apparatus, operating effectively, efficiently and effectively, in that process, the whole province needs to continue to maintain its political will, solidarity, and arouse confidence and aspirations for a brighter future for the new province and the country.
